The key phrase here is “stumbled on decent money.” That suggests the money may be a one-off lump sum, not money he can confidently reproduce every month or even every few months.
Personally, I wouldn’t buy a car or put the money into a house project yet. I’d invest it in something that can generate more money, maybe a food business or buying and reselling land.
Then I’d use the profit to start the house project gradually.
My priority would be to make the money produce more money before spending it on either a car or a house.
Your freedom of religion argument doesn’t work. Freedom of religion protects his right to go to Mecca. It does not decide what the Olubadan stool is.
To traditionalists, the stool is a sacred office, not a neutral title. The covered head is part of that office. Ihram requires the opposite. That is two religious systems meeting, not a dress code mix-up.
Would a Chief Imam or the Emir of Kano publicly perform another faith’s rites and wave away objections as “freedom of religion”? If no, then why should the Olubadan expose his head in public simply because another religious obligation requires it?
If the obligations of the two religious systems conflict, that is exactly the contradiction that should be confronted, not dismissed as freedom of religion.
I swear, if Raphinha had moved to Chelsea in 2022, his football career would have been finished by now 😂 But look at him today, one of the best players in the word.
Sometimes, you have to be intentional about what you want.

You’re a very wicked wife 😂. See as the husband is talking like mumu. What are you spending your money on if you cannot even do 50/50 with your husband?
I think the first step is increasing my earning capacity enough to create a meaningful surplus. If most of what I make is still feeding money, then there’s very little left to build wealth with. Once I have that surplus, investing, business ownership and other assets can start doing the real wealth-building.
If No. 2 actually happens and the trophies are awarded to the runners-up 👀

🚨𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: This are the list of punishment Manchester city may face after being found guilty of 115 Premier League charges relating to financial breaches.
1. Removed from the premier league (they will start all over from league two)
2. Strip off of all Domestic trophies won (Premier league, FA cup and Carabao cup)
3. Huge fine and points deduction
4. Ban on transfers for 5 straight seasons.
Boss, you no talk these rules on time na. I don f up already for Rule B.
Rules for cheating (as told to me by Ẹ̀gbọ́n àdúgbòs)
No 1: Don't cheat.
No 2: For your own sake, don't cheat.
No 3: If you want to cheat, let it be with someone who has something to lose also
No 4: If you want to cheat with someone who has nothing to lose, set hard boundaries. These include:-
a) Ghost her for one month the first time she disrespects your wife
b) She should never know your exact house, just general area
c) She has specific time she can call you. If she calls you outside those periods, don't pick her calls and then fight with her after wards.
d) She can contact one of your guys who can contact you on her behalf outside this window in case of emergencies
5)... (if you want the remaining six rules, enter my DM) 😁
Before we conclude that students simply need to pay ₦1m, what are we doing about affordability and accountability for the funding that already exists?
I don’t think the real problem is the ₦1m itself. The bigger issue is affordability. Whenever the cost of something as important as education increases significantly without any corresponding increase in people’s income, there will naturally be serious pushback.
Then there is the bigger issue of accountability. Companies already pay Tertiary Education Tax, government funds public universities, TETFund provides interventions, and students also pay various institutional charges such as tuition, acceptance fees, departmental and faculty fees, maintenance charges and other levies.
So where is all the money going?
If all these funding streams already exist, why are students still dealing with overcrowded classrooms, inadequate equipment, poor laboratories and deteriorating infrastructure?
If we start demanding real accountability for every naira going into our public universities, how much comes in, what it is spent on, whether projects are actually delivered, and whether there are consequences when money is mismanaged, our public universities will improve drastically.
That doesn’t mean the existing funding is necessarily enough to meet every need. But before asking students to pay ₦1m, show us what is already coming in and what it has achieved.
Because even if students start paying ₦1m tomorrow, without accountability and consequences for mismanagement, there is no guarantee that our public universities will improve.
Your second slide reminds me of my 100L days at LAUTECH. All the Engineering students had lectures in one hall, 1200LT. Most times, by the time I got to school, the hall was already full, so I would just sit at the back.
After the lecture, I would go back home feeling like I had barely gained anything from the class. You could hardly hear properly, see what was being written, ask questions or even stay engaged.
People sometimes underestimate how much the learning environment itself can affect students.
Imagine all the girls doing OS suddenly stop and turn a new leaf. You think men won’t feel it? The impact on men will be serious.
Two different philosophies about handling violence in a relationship 😂 I’m going with Ezemmuo on this one.
If you hit your wife because she was violent towards you, what you did is also violence and aggression. So why should a man use violence to “correct” a woman for displaying the same behaviour?
I once ended a relationship because of the girl’s violence towards me. During a heated argument, she picked up a knife and tried to stab me in the hand.
After that argument, I told myself the relationship was over. That was the last time she ever came to my place.
And the knife incident wasn’t even the only issue. She already had violent tendencies, including verbal aggression and abuse.
I simply ended the relationship.
I’ve apparently been practising the Ezemmuo philosophy since and as a man, I agree with it.
I don’t agree with you. Walking away from a violent partner (man or woman) is not running away. It is setting boundaries for what you will and won’t accept.
It is also possibly a way of saving your own life or that of the violent person. Consider it the same as being stopped at 1am by a policeman who is obviously high on drugs and alcohol and is demanding money from you while armed with an AK47. Giving him N5,000 is not a bribe. It is wisdom.
“She was violent and I gave her a few slaps” is not what I would advise. At the first display of violence, take yourself out of the violent situation, lest you overreact and it degenerates into something both of you may regret.
Some people can’t measure the strength of their blows differently for women versus for men. Many people have also died as a result of being slapped and then hitting their head on an object.
Take yourself out of the violent situation first. Once you have left the violent situation, tell her that the marriage is over because you cannot be with a violent person. If there is reconciliation after that, the violence will never recur. If, for some reason, it does and you still go back, it’s on you.
I actually think that it is men who hit women who are weak.
And No! Violent women are actually the exception rather than the rule, just like violent men are the minority, not the majority.
You may genuinely want to help, but after asking for his documents, you were already publicly entertaining doubts about his story and engaging positively with people questioning his credibility. From his perspective, that can easily look less like help and more like being asked to prove himself to someone who already doubts him. I can understand why he wouldn’t trust you with his private land documents.
You are not proving a point sir, you made a tweet that concerns Ogun State, it’s going viral, I’m offering to help. And I have good record here of assisting people when they run into issues or bottlenecks in Ogun State. People can verify.
I am willing to assist you to figure out if someone is trying to rip you off.
I haven’t called you a liar, neither have insulted you.
