For COVID-19, we should be tracking growth rate and doubling times of active cases now, not total cases
Have been trying out @RamNode cloud offering based on OpenStack. Very nice so far with the usual RamNode stability and performance.
Looks like WebGPU specification is still a long way off and WebGL seems to still not have a standard compute shader extension?

Civ6 seems to be the lone shining example:

It is 2019. Game devs have had some time to work with low level APIs. Wondering what are the examples of games that offer much better perf in DX12/Vulkan compared to DX11? OpenGL is not a great baseline

Just wrote my first English blog to introduce hardware intrinsic in .NET Core 3.0 fiigii.com/2019/03/03/Hardwa… In the future several months, I will write more to explain SIMD programming via C# and .NET Core JIT compiler optimizations for SIMD code.
Presentation about Vulkan from @jcant0n . Appears to be in Spanish which I don't know but still comprehensible. Slides 11 and 12 are hilarious:

@xenko3d has their own bindings: github.com/xenko3d/SharpVulk…, and I know that @WaveEngineTeam supports Vulkan as well. Not sure which bindings they use, or if they are public. There is also github.com/FacticiusVir/Shar…, which is probably closer to what you want.
Any one using C# or F# with Vulkan? Which bindings are you using? I am trying to use @ericmellino Vk binding. It is nice but very low level, not as pleasant as eg: SharpDX on DX side
Apparently Vulkan and now OpenGL header files are under Apache license. Makes my head explode to think about what it means for headers to be under Apache. Library or software I understand, but headers? I guess I don't understand OSS licenses as well as I thought
Vulkan API has a specification in XML format. A generator tool then generates the header. License is specified in the original XML .. but there is also an exception clause specifically for generators that removes some of the restrictions. This is even more confusing
#fsharp folks, is there any established good pattern about doing RAII in F#? Eg: Do I need to call dispose explicitly for member fields or is there any better alternative? @dsyme @_cartermp
