this is not true. it is unfair how you’re actively trying to change the narrative. this whole thing emanated from the just concluded U S’ midterm election. nigerian magas were saying all sorts about islam and muslims altogether, because el-sayed, a muslim, got elected into the senate, which they believe is undeserving. uloma then said it is unfair, and a clear cut bigotry to assume the worst of people because of their faith/religion. she never said that islam, its subscribers or its legal systems, schools of thought, etc. are above scrutiny. to even imply that is to uproot hermeneutics, to be more precise, tafsir — from islamic studies, because it is one of its key branches. and god bearing witness, most of the muslims i have seen engaging with this whole thing have been doing it from a rebuttal and a refutation point of views, and not from a how-dare-you pov. i don’t know man. it is not as if all this explanation even matters to the likes of you. as far as you’re concerned islam is the most cancerous thing to ever exist. in all of this, the general elections is in two months. if, god forbids, that man wins the election again we are all done for, muslim or not. he doesn’t give two Fs whether you’re a muslim or not — kari ile ni iya ye’n. baba daada. at least he got that right.
