Last weekend, @FoodIsGoodCo team passed 500k downloads.
More importantly, we continue to get positive feedback from our members about the difference we make in their lives.
We are on a mission to help 1 million+ people with dietary restrictions - Here's to Half way there 💪💪
I feel like our time is ripe for some great literary satire/cultural criticism a la Kurt Vonnegut in the 50s, but I have yet to see it.
The Seahawks game yesterday was heartbreaking. So many dumb mistakes and somehow we still ended up close to winning. I cannot believe we didn't take a knee to end the half.
Incredibly sad news - Mama Ji’s spicy fish is a staple of every SF trip for me
Claude <> emulator interaction has really been a game changer for local app development. It's still a little inconsistent and clunky but it's great when it works.
Claude sneaky has the best recipes UI I've ever seen. Inline timers. Step-by-step instructions with timers for each step. It's great.
One of my pet peeves is when people describe a functional requirement as "using AI" to do something. That's not the requirement. The requirement is the outcome of using AI; AI is the implementation detail.
Update here - this actually worked pretty well - plus I got my phone involved and can connect arbitrary bundlers to my device.
A few things I started playing with:
- The GH cli now allows attaching screenshots so I have claude using the ios-simulator-mcp and take the photos for validating it's PR
- I'm experimenting with running 3 simulators at once and having claude work on three separate work trees using different bundlers for each simulator to do simultaneous PRs
It rarely works, but it's beautiful. 🥲

With the new Github CLI I can finally achieve my dream of opening a mobile app feature PR without having to touch anything.
Sometimes it's easier to show than tell. We're sure this update will help with that. 👀
GitHub CLI now has a repeatable --attach flag that uploads a local image or video. Reference it inline in an issue, pull request, or comment body.
Available now to all users on GitHub across all plans. 🎉
