We’ve been taking June off for several years now and we’ve had the most success in the history of our school in that time.
Don’t be worn out before the season even starts. The season is already long. Make sure your players aren’t burned out when playoffs start.
All teams and coaches should take June off. Nationwide. But it will never happen because it’s an arms race and someone will cheat the system.

Just spent an hour and a half with my dad on the phone this Father’s Day. I left feeling grateful that I get to talk to him as much as I want for as long as I want. He’s taught me so much about being a dad, more than he will know.
