It's a new era for Cameron Volleyball with Head Coach Melissa Avila who looks to break the narratives about the program.

Very disappointed with the state of D1 college sport. Priorities have changed. Thankful to be in a position where I can support student-athletes in their development on and off the field… and provide opportunities that put their experience first.

Tryouts for club Volleyball should not be allowed to occur until at least October. Having summer tryouts is one of the worst decisions for our sport's culture. Policies need to be made by @usavolleyball and @jrvbassociation to fix this. – at West Lafayette, IN

Great graduation day with LPC yesterday. Being a Dean doesn’t allow as much connection with students as I’d like, but yesterday I had the chance to congratulate every single graduate that walked. Rewarding and inspiring to say the least. @LPCOfficial
2 teams/2 weekends. 2 top 10 finishes at Far Westerns. 1 bid to Nationals in Chicago. 1 league championship. Hundreds of miles of driving. The last 2 weekends capped off a ridiculous last 5 months. Thankful for this opportunity!! Thankful for those who are in it with me!
