With all the talk about transfers lately I can’t help but think of something I was told years ago about business and life. The first rule when you find yourself in a hole is to stop digging! In other words put the shovel/keyboard down and get to work! I wish programs were required to disclose how many kids transferred away from their own program every year. Frankly I think those stats would be more effective at fixing the “transfer issue”. Programs should be working to get better and stay attractive. You will never stop transfers but I’m so tired of people blaming cheating and recruiting when their own programs aren’t putting in the effort to keep their own kids!
