39 years ago tonight, 12/19/85, I went to bed about 9 pm. An hour later than normal. I was 9. Dad wasn't home yet. Which was weird. Because it always took about 25-30 mins to drive home from San Marcos to Fallbrook after he called mom to say he was on his way.

Not trying to alarm, y’all. We aren’t throwing our hands up screaming “help.” We are no where near ever giving up. Just saying, we can’t do it without you. And with less than 3% of businesses in Philly being owned by Blk women. Far less than that making it to the 5 year mark. We ask that you stop by Harriett’s today between 12-6 pm or online at harriettsbookshop.com to keep the magic of what we’ve built together as a community alive.

It's illegal to kill children anywhere in the U.S. @Newsweek this piece is spreading misinformation.

Philando Castile, or “Mr. Phil” as he was known to his students, would pay for lunches out of his own pocket.
He was a son and a beloved member of our community.
He should be alive today.
Let’s continue to say his name and shine a light on the injustices in our state.
