Someone asked me the other day who my hero was. I was never one to be starstruck by or idolize others but if I were forced to choose Freeman Dyson would be a good candidate.

My goal is to improve CFD algorithms, and prove that there is no such thing as bad grid, only bad discretizations.
Humans are good at many things but communication is not one of them. All of our inefficiencies are rooted in poor communication and not lack of knowledge or know how.

Oh great Alex Mogilny missed the Hall again. At this point I can only conclude he is guilty of innumerable homicides not privy to the public.

The educational system for some reason gives people the impression that if they cannot think about math in the way they are taught to think about it, they are just bad at math. But often they just need a different way of thinking about it – at Los Angeles, CA
If everyone bails to Threads I may be close done with social media. With the cesspool that is Facebook, how can anyone trust Meta for a Twitter replacement? Looks like LinkedIn will be the last bastion.

For 2nd-order accuracy, the surface flux quadrature must be exact for linearly-varying fluxes f=a*x+b*y+c*z+d, and exact for quadratically-varying fluxes for 3rd-order. In either case, cell/face must be clearly defined. Many CFD solvers aren't 2nd-order unless the grid is tetra.

What is a goal?
It's the outcome you want.
What is your system?
It's the collection of daily habits you follow.

Has anyone who have written technical papers/thesis with images at the end of sections/chapters actually re-read it in that format? It’s just awful flipping back and forth.

1. Cunningham's Law:
The best way to find the right answer on the internet is not to ask the right question, but to post the wrong answer.
Why? Because people are more interested in criticizing others than helping them.
