My family has several birthdays over the period of two weeks and I currently have 16 people in my house ...
This is obvious but not necessarily obvious all at the same time.

Take care of him.
Just received a call from one of our Sunday School teachers asking me to help them setup the projector for their lesson in the chapel.
I made the comment to my wife:
No technology specialist has been asked to do so much
She responded: At least you're not Bishop.
Perspective achieved.
Having an animated conversation with our 14yo about getting her a camera with a screen on it... While discussing it with her I reflected on my mission and not being able to see my pictures until I finished a roll of film and had it developed.
We bought this child a camera without a screen on it for FSY at her request. I can't help but think that she should have to wait for images to be developed before she can view the good and bad ones.
I'm not a fan of college sports. Football is my favorite sport and really only the NFL.
I watched this game from kickoff to game over and it is the first time I cared about college football. Sure... It's mostly due to my being a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints but it genuinely was a fantastic game. Maybe one of my children will choose to attend there in the future. Give me another reason to care about a college.
The great thing about the BYU v ND game is that there will be zero tithing from gambling... And... Those who bet on ND... Will have learned a valuable lesson.
The great thing about this is that it shows that the Book of Mormon isn't just a theological text. It is a guidebook to living a life of joy.
The Book of Mormon takes place in the ancient Americas and, like the Bible, was written by Jesus Christ's followers. It teaches His gospel and testifies of Him. As you live the teachings found in the Book of Mormon, you can find peace and truth.

Church leaders point to record convert baptisms, a growing missionary force and expanding temple access as evidence of the Lord’s fulfilled promise.
