Just called the first FBS college football game ever played at Wembley Stadium. Sat in a booth in one of the most historic venues in the world and got to tell the story of two programs, two coaching staffs, and a bunch of young men who will never forget this night. That part already would have been enough. What made it different is who was here with me. Fox didn’t just give me a headset and a game. They gave my family a front-row seat to something that will live in our house for the rest of our lives. My little girls got to see what their dad does on Saturdays and walk through a stadium that has seen the World Cup, the Live Aid concert, the Olympics and college football for the first time. They got to be part of the ride instead of watching it from a phone. I don’t take that lightly. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to do this job. Thank you, Fox. Thank you for trusting our crew with nights like this. Thank you for making room for our family on the journey. Thank you for putting us in rooms and stadiums we never would have reached on our own. And Thank you to my wife, Grete, I would never be able to do this without you. The way you sacrifice for our family and the way you care, tend to and help raise our girls makes it all possible. You deserve the world and I will give it to you and our girls. Doing special games with special people in special places is the stuff people dream of. We are blessed to be living it.
