If you had a ticket to Grace Hopper and have not cancelled your plans to go to San Francisco, go to @github's LinkedIn right now if you'd like to attend GitHub Universe for free ❤️

Dear @comcast I disconnected my service but you are not letting me access an itemized version of my last bill, which makes no sense. Your chat agents are telling me to call but I am #deaf and this is unacceptable. Why can't you share / email my last bill? #accessibility
Do you use assistive technologies (like screen readers, speech to text, dark mode, eye tracking, etc.) to use developer software for your daily work? If so, GitHub wants to hear from you!
I'll be moderating a few user panels of folks who have lived exp using assistive tech. 🧵
If you’d like to participate, please comment or send me a DM. (You’ll be compensated for your feedback.)
If you'd rather not participate on this user panel, I'd still love to hear from you as we've got additional upcoming research opportunities! #a11y

Oh yay, my account has been reactivated! Locked out since Nov 4 as it was formerly connected to my Twitter email address. Hi 👋. How are y'all? I'm now at @github as Sr. Program Manager for #accessibility within Design and it's been an amazing experience so far. #a11y
Hope one day my Halloween costume becomes a reality. 😁 What am I? #golf #TweetItIntoExistence
@runarnoldrun did you figure it out? I was a “scratch golfer” haha!
The beauty in this heartbreak is that we now know what an inclusive, empathetic work culture looks like. May we continue to be role models to bring continued positive impact to all those around us. Thank you for all the lessons, growth and experience. #LoveWhereYouWorked #a11y
Excited to read about the FDA approval of @CochlearUS Nucleus 8 Sound Processor. It will provide direct audio connectivity to consumer electronics using next gen LE AUdio technology from Bluetooth. cochlear.us/nucleus8 #CochlearImplants (1/2)
Currently there's a direct connection to my iPhone, but that's the extent of it. For me to connect wirelessly to my TV, Computer, I have to use one of the wireless accessories to connect, which is why it's a big step for the broader bluetooth connectivity beyond phones! (2/2)
When I was growing up, I didn't "need" the extra hour sleep during fall back. So I'd credit myself that extra hour at some point on Sunday to do something fun! How do you want / plan to spend your extra hour this weekend?

Birdie and I are going on a 2-night backpacking trip with friends in November. It’ll be Birdie’s first, so we’re out “training!” 1) Working on her recall and staying with me, and 2) Testing out her new day pack from @MountainsmithCo. Seems ok with it so far! Video desc in thread.

This was one of the most exciting articles I've read in a while.🤣 Loved reading about the researchers who tracked this female pintail duck who broke off from her flock in Canada and flew to Russia before turning around for California! Go duck, go!

Cozy home office setup. Fire + DogTV on for Birdie that has lulled her to a state of relaxation. Great setup for my focus during #FocusWeek! YouTube channel is “Calm Your Dog” with scenes of dogs running through fields with soothing music!
On this #DayofRest, I was excited getting my haircut with a new stylist. Showed up & as it turns out, I didn't actually "book" online as I thought. I was so bummed but she was able to swap me with her next client & get me in. Grateful for their flexibility. So happy with the cut!
