Why did everything get so expensive?
10.8 million border encounters. More people, not more homes. Rent went up. Texas hospitals paid more than $1 billion in one year to care for people here illegally. Classrooms filled up.
Then the border was secured. Rent is coming down. Eggs are back under $2.50.
Secure the border. Lower the cost of living. Vote Republican November 3.

The city is afraid. Afraid enough to publish false information.
And it should be.
We want our money to be spent responsibly.
No more $2M checks to Chito’s favorite NGO.
City staff are publishing anti-Prop I propaganda on austintexas dot gov
Their cost estimate is totally made up and its kind of moot because the audit must find savings greater than cost
Theres no distinction between 'must be made public' and 'available upon request' , nothing is stopping the city from proactively publishing the prop I data
Likewise , nothing is stopping them from giving feedback to the prop I auditor in subsequent years
Finally their chart is missing many benefits of Prop I , like for example, it can't be repealed by council!

🚨 GINA HINOJOSA WANTS A DEBATE WITH ABBOTT. SHE JUST WON'T LET ANOTHER CANDIDATE ON THE STAGE.
She showed up at the Governor's Mansion to challenge Greg Abbott.
Then independent write-in candidate JENN MACK interrupted to challenge HER to a debate.
According to the clip circulating, Mack was QUICKLY REMOVED.
So Gina will "deport" a fellow candidate off her stage, but she won't get serious about DEPORTING CRIMINAL ILLEGAL ALIENS.
She wants debates on her terms. Texans want a secure border.
Keep Texas red. Vote Abbott.

Gina Hinojosa staged a debate with an empty podium to criticize Greg Abbott for not debating her.
Then Jenn Mack (@IamtheGlitch_TX)--one of her Independent opponents--showed up to debate and was kicked out of the event.
You really can't make up how fake Hinojosa is.

The most insane part about the EBT discourse is that it's all just fucking fraud.
Literally the latest Financial Audit guests are a family of 4, they aren't married but have a kid together. The mother doesn't claim her his near 6 figure income so they get benefits.
You are getting taxed so these people can eat out for free and go to museums and zoos at 1/20th what you pay.

I Showed Up to Debate Both Their Records
@GinaHinojosaTX has been calling out @GregAbbott_TX to debate knowing he’ll never show up.
But when I, a certified Independent Write-In candidate, answer that call to debate on both of their records, Gina’s response is to have me forcibly removed from the stage.
Did Gina really want to debate? Or was she just playing off Greg Abbotts unwillingness to debate for poll numbers knowing that she herself can't defend her own record?
Texans have another choice that is free from the establishment control.
Vote Jenn Mack via Write-In for Governor of Texas on November 3rd.
I'm a Constitutional Independent, unowned by any political party.
Not Red, Not Blue, Just Texas.

Omitting data to make your point only undermines it further.
The CDC reported 42,348 firearm deaths last year. Suicides accounted for 28,000 of them.
That leaves 14,383 homicides by firearm out of 341.8 million; That’s 4.2 deaths per 100,000.
Know what else has a death rate greater than 4.2/100k?
Almost everything.
Heart disease 155, cancer 140, accidents 55, stroke 40, respiratory disease 34,kidney/liver disease 13.
To claim that ‘America has a firearm problem’ based off of a single metric which includes self harm is incredibly misleading- and to call for the removal of a constitutional right based of a lie by omission even worse.

Mark, it’s disappointing to see you parroting the teachers unions’ misleading talking points about school choice. Let’s set the record straight.
First, my legislation creates scholarships funded by private donations, without taking a dime from public schools. Not one dollar is diverted from Arizona’s existing public-school funding. The claim that this program defunds Arizona schools is flatly false.
Second, these scholarships benefit children in public and private schools. Governors from Texas to Colorado to New York have opted in, including Democrat Gov. Kathy Hochul, because they realize this program will unleash billions of dollars to kids across their states.
If Arizona refuses to participate, Arizona taxpayers can still claim the federal tax credit by contributing to eligible scholarship organizations in other states. Arizona taxpayers will help educate kids in Texas, New York, and Colorado while Arizona kids are denied the same opportunity.
I’d encourage you to spend less time repeating teachers union talking points and more time reading what the law actually says.
We saw during COVID what happens when politicians put the demands of teachers unions ahead of the needs of children. Arizona kids deserve better.
Every kid deserves a good public education. From kindergarten to college, public schools changed my life. Every kid deserves that shot regardless of their zip code or their parents’ income. That’s why Republicans’ national school voucher program is a bad idea. It drains resources from schools and benefits the wealthy. I'm fighting to stop it so we can keep improving our public schools.

LIES. Talarico lies as naturally as he breathes.
“women dying in hospital parking lots from sepsis due to Texas abortion laws”.
Literally no women have died from sepsis in hospital parking lots.
There have been three high profile cases in the last 6 years.
THREE.
All three of which are more closely linked to medical malpractice in not treating observed sepsis than anything else.
But my goodness, do these Democrats just love death and tragedy because they get to lie about it and exploit it for their own political profit for years to come.

I've known @jamestalarico for nearly 20 years. When we were at @UTAustin in 2009, he ran the University Democrats and I ran the College Republicans. Although we disagreed, I once considered him a friend. But then he betrayed the entire student body for his own political gain.🧵

Letitia Plummer wants to run Harris County.
On City Council, she was absent 43 times in two years. That is 26% of all sessions and the worst attendance on council, according to the Houston Chronicle. Twenty-seven of those absences were listed as “personal business.”
In 2020, she pushed to cut $11.7 million and 199 positions from HPD. Not one other council member backed her.
Harris County needs a judge who shows up.
Early voting starts Monday, Oct. 19. Vote Orlando Sanchez.
Texas and America are being plundered.
The University of Texas reserves 90% of freshman admissions for Texas residents. But “Texas resident” does NOT mean American citizen.
Under current rules, children of foreign workers on certain temporary visas can qualify for those same seats after their parents establish just 12 months of Texas residency.
As Texans, we fund our public universities. The children of Texas parents who have spent their adult lives paying Texas taxes should receive first priority for admission.
Our children’s futures should come first.

FACT CHECK: James Talarico says, "We need to finally pass a pay raise for teachers."
Texas already did. Last year.
In 2025, the Texas Legislature passed HB 2, an $8.5 billion school funding bill with $4.2 billion for permanent teacher and staff pay raises. It passed the House 122-13 and the Senate 31-0. Teacher pay was one of Governor Abbott's emergency items that session.
Teachers with three to four years of experience in districts over 5,000 students got $2,500. Teachers with five or more years got $5,000.
And Talarico voted for it.
One more thing. Teacher pay in Texas is set by the Texas Legislature. Talarico is running for the United States Senate. A U.S. senator does not get a vote on it.
Verdict: The raise already passed, with his vote, in the body he is trying to leave.

I know people are celebrating that the Trump admin is actually seeking to denaturalize & Deport Ilhan Omar.
However,
If this actually does happen, we are going to have to discuss its implications.
A third world immigrant defrauded our country, and got herself elected to Congress.
And the Democrat party helped her every step of the way, made her a media darling, and STILL defend her to this very moment.
That deserves attention as it is significantly more serious than just saying “haha deport her”.
Everyone involved in the scam must answer for it.
