Haven Marton Mere caravan park, Blackpool. Me and my family arrived here today (Monday 17th August) for a weeks holiday that we paid £1,350 for. Upon arrival, I was stood outside my caravan smoking my LEGAL MEDICAL PRESCRIPTION cannabis when a security guard told me to stop or I’d have to leave. I explained to him that it’s legal and prescribed and he wouldn’t listen to me at all, instead, they phoned the police and had me and my family removed off the site whilst laughing at us and telling us “you won’t get a penny refunded” As you can imagine, the children are absolutely heartbroken that this has happened as their holiday has been cut short after just 2 hours. This is absolutely abhorrent the way I have just been treated by haven and now I’m £1,300 down and no holiday for the children. Share this far and wide so people are well aware that Haven holidays discriminate against people with disabilities and belittle them in front of hundreds of people.
