MUCH to process from @defuseDublin. Initial thoughts:
1) Community is critical for design, for life (thanks @ixdadublin et al)
2) This talk is not disposable, WE WILL TAKE ACTION. Blog next, maybe @Futures_Design local chapter too?
3) Thx for the ❤️🤘👏
Everything about this talk was awesome!! 🤩 The energy from @cloudsteph got us all fired up & ready to dive headfirst into designing the future we want 🙌 What a number to finish on! 👏 #DefuseDublin @defuseDublin
Burst of activity on 🦋, feels like early days of this place. Aka so much better. There for the foreseeable.

This has been known for YEARS!
It's not just a bad policy, it's a textbook inflationary policy as there's no counterweight to stop developers from increasing house prices to match the first time buyers schemes!
Analysts say Fine Gael and Fianna Fáil election pledges to first-time buyers would push prices up jrnl.ie/6539364t

Complex problem. Massive impact for the city. Long term benefits for society.
Green line @Luas wasn’t having a great evening and then an accident involving a cyclist has stalled us at the junction of Dorset and Dominick St blocking the road. Hopefully all involved are okay. Imagine more delays ahead for tonight.
If you have a Spotify sub, this audiobook is included. Been meaning to get into it for a while, curious if it might help unravel some of the recent news. open.spotify.com/show/3YKC05…
That’s a lot of strange looking buses and bicycles going south over Broome Bridge. No wonder the N2 struggles to keep time. Better signage and markings needed? @DubCityCouncil @DublinCommuters
If anyone has experience of submitting a noise complaint against a premises to Dublin City Council, and how to get a result, I’d greatly appreciate any advice. There’s a 7 nights a week issue with a restaurant beneath my partner’s gaff and the staff quite frankly DGAF.
Called in in person multiple times after 11pm asking for music to be turned down or off. Ignored. Emails to landlord met with apologies. Problem continues. Reggaeton blaring until ~2am Sat and on again tonight. Place closes to the public at 10.30 and it’s quiet during biz hours!
A new children’s hospital and research centre in Zurich that looks and sounds like a place you might heal in. theguardian.com/artanddesign…
Witnessed some ugly behaviour by a @GoAheadIreland driver tonight. Passenger asked for confirmation the new N2 bus route. “Didn’t I already tell you where we were going” and opened the door behind them. They get off as the driver calls of “where are ya off to now?” Mortifying.
@GoAheadIreland please advise which of the complaint reasons I should use to log a complaint. Acronyms are not explained on the form.
Case #824 for a people-first service design approach to all public services
Planned protests through some of the main streets of Dublin City happen quite regularly around Saturdays, and yet there’s little to no advance notice or support in planning from our transport providers.
Replying to @cloudsteph
Hi Stephie, please keep an eye on our social media and Travel Update page on Luas.ie for information regarding services. -Sabrina
Hi @Luas what time will Green Line services through the city centre be stopped tomorrow due to road closures for a planned protest?
