I have decided to focus more on tech stuff and spend less time on other things (like politics) on here.
I mean I'll still respond to stuff that makes me mad, but I'm going to try posting about things I enjoy more.

The public perception of safety in US cities is pretty unrelated to the actual murder rates. I love how in Dallas Republicans and Democrats can agree on how remarkably safe the city is. These folksy "we need to get back to" was when every car guzzled gas and you needed a tune up every few weeks.
Modern cars are safer, more fuel efficient and are sleeker; while people pine for this, no one actually buys it in quantity.
