just found out that some people will read and follow a wip on ao3 but will only leave kudos once the fic is finished to make sure they're not associated to "weird shit" that might come up in future chapters via kudos... jesus

even if I don't end up loving it, I enjoyed it at some point & that's still worthy of acknowledgement imo. ao3 is an archive at the end of the day, so that's like archiving a moment in time! I just wish I could track them out of curiosity so I know at which points I left kudos 😂
