William chose to be an idol. He worked hard, fought for his place, and became part of LYKN because it was something he genuinely wanted. It’s a part of his life that he values deeply—the bond he has with his Phi’s and Nong, the experiences they’ve shared, and the journey they’ve taken together. So please respect this side of William too. He isn’t only an actor. He isn’t only an individual artist, and he isn’t only part of WilliamEst. Before WilliamEst, there was LYKN—and William himself chose to be part of it. Now he has both sides of his life, and what matters is that we can see how happy and fulfilled he is with the people and paths he has chosen. You don’t have to stan LYKN or support the group, but please don’t reduce LYKN to something that “gets in the way” of William’s acting career or WilliamEst. Saying that dismisses something William worked hard for and genuinely cares about. You can love William and WilliamEst while still respecting William as an idol and as a member of LYKN. He shouldn’t have to choose between the different parts of his life just because some people only want to see one side of him. He deserves to be supported and respected in all of them.
