I just watched a video of Hilal’s father bidding him farewell. In his poignant speech, the father said that his son had already lost his mother, brother, and grandfather.
That is not what Western media will report if they ever cover the killing of Hilal and the hundreds of children Israel has slaughtered over the past few months of this so-called “ceasefire.”

The breast is where the money is. Americans want white meat, so a bird gets cut up and the breasts go out at $3 to $4 a pound, wings at $3 or more, thighs somewhere in between.
By the time the drumsticks hit the tray the bird has already covered the feed, the grower, the plant and the trucking. The legs are the remainder.
That's also why the US exports a huge share of its leg quarters to Mexico and a bunch of other countries for well under a dollar a pound, because the rest of the world prefers dark meat and we don't.
The bird itself is cheap to make. Roughly 45 days from chick to plant, about 11 pounds of feed to grow a 6 pound bird, all of it inside one company that owns the hatchery, the feed mill and the plant. The farmer gets paid a few cents a pound to house them.
Seven birds cost maybe $30 to raise and sell for a lot more than that once they're in pieces. The $5 tray is the tail end.
