Johnny Manziel says he drank lean thinking his birthday gave him a free pass from drug testing, only to fail a test the very next day
“I’ll never forget mine. Shout out to Dwayne Bowe. 2015 in Cleveland, on my birthday, we went out, and he mixed up some lean, a couple cups of lean.”
“And of course, I didn’t think they would test me the day after my birthday. I come in, like, December 7th, yada yada, fail my second test for promethazine.”

Trash ruling. Fine him a game check, and leave it at that. He already missed an entire half of one of the most important games this season. So now you’re suspending him 1.5 games.
Per the NFL: 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw has been suspended without pay for one game for an act of unsportsmanlike conduct during Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks.
During the second quarter, Greenlaw used his helmet to headbutt Seattle linebacker Ernest Jones IV, who was not wearing a helmet, violating Rule 12, Section 3, Article 1, which applies to “any act which is contrary to the generally understood principles of sportsmanship.”
Greenlaw will be eligible to return to the 49ers’ active roster on Tuesday, October 20, following the team’s October 19 game against the Washington Commanders.
Under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, Greenlaw may appeal the suspension. Any appeal will be heard and decided upon by either Derrick Brooks, Jordy Nelson, Ron Rivera, or James Thrash, the hearing officers jointly appointed and compensated by the NFL and NFLPA to decide appeals of on-field player discipline.

Now play the follow up to this throw at the end of the game where JSN lets the ball slide through his hands because he’s afraid of getting hit by Mustapha.

Malik Mustapha delivered a big time hit to JSN on the final drive to rattle him up!
Definitely think he had those hits on his mind before his costly drop.
The Niners defensive is incredibly punishing and their physicality may not have a match this season.

Sometimes becoming who you want to be means accepting that the room may stay the same while your place in it changes.

I stayed quiet because I refused to become as ugly as the person who hurt me. You can convince people I was the villain, but you can't convince God that you didn't know what you were doing. Your reputation may survive your BS, but your conscience still knows the damn truth.

I hope you make enough money to experience the version of life you keep imagining. Not just enough to pay bills and survive another month. Enough to buy something you love without immediately calculating what you have left. Enough to take your parents somewhere nice, make your home feel like yours, help someone without putting yourself in a difficult position. Enough to rest without feeling guilty about the cost of resting. I hope you get to a place where money gives you room to enjoy your life, make choices, and take care of the people you love without constantly wondering if you can afford it. I hope you have more than enough to live, and enough freedom to actually enjoy being alive.

I promise you, there are people you haven't met yet who will make you understand why certain connections had to end. Better chemistry, deeper intimacy, more honest love. Don't let what you lost convince you that you've seen the best life has to offer.
Being misunderstood by someone who matters to you and unable to make them understand your perception hits differently, especially when you know your heart, your intentions, and the truth behind everything, but no amount of explanation will make things right.

Y’all’s relationships don’t work because you think it’s okay to ignore someone just because you’re mad, instead of being an adult and communicating. Being upset is valid, but using silence to punish someone solves absolutely nothing. Healthy relationships require difficult conversations, honesty, and the willingness to work through uncomfortable feelings together. You can be angry with someone and still treat them with respect. Love isn’t about avoiding conflict; it’s about learning how to handle it without hurting each other.

I don't think people talk enough about how much courage it takes to start over when you never wanted to start over in the first place. To rebuild a life you thought you had already built. To find your confidence after someone destroyed it. To make new plans when the future you imagined no longer exists. Sometimes the bravest thing you'll ever do is begin again with absolutely nothing but yourself; but one day, you may just look back and realize that the ending you never wanted became the beginning you never knew you needed.
