This is applicable to #grantwriting as well. As the saying goes, "don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good" (or even great!). If you don't submit your grant app because you're fussing to make it "perfect" and miss the deadline, you won't get funded! Simple. #AcademicChatter
We typically feel that we need to have a "perfect" manuscript. However, this may delay research output because of constant editing. You can spend time making the perfect vanilla cake (or paper) and a reviewer likes chocolate. Thus, just submit your best work! #AcademicTwitter
The occurrence and precise timing of #HRSA competitions can be a challenge to predict, but today the agency forecasted several opportunities (via grants.gov) expected to be released in late fall, with deadlines in January. No time like the present to get started!
NEPQR and ANEW especially are major targets for nursing schools, and institutions are usually in better shape starting on these proposals before the winter holidays.
