Look at those horizontal plumes of mining dust travelling towards Haryana.The immediate impact is on Bayal , sayalodra and surrounding villages, but this is ultimately an airshed issue. It is astonishing to see this thick white plume on 2 October. Now imagine the pollution load when the days turn colder. There is a long trail of complaints, acknowledgements, escalations and referrals going back to Nov 2025 :mining dust, uncovered/overloaded trucks, dust suppression, groundwater, health and safety. Please hear what Bhati ji says about the mining and stone crushers and every single family is paying a price with their health ! Why is no one talking about air pollution in Mumbai and Delhi? It’s not even winter yet, and pollution levels are already high. Or have we simply started accepting AQI above 100 as normal? Are we going to start talking about it only when the AQI crosses 300? AQI above 100 is already unhealthy, especially for sensitive groups. Looks like we’ve become so used to pollution in India that we’ve stopped caring about it.
