📣 BREAKING: More than 1,770 fossil fuel lobbyists attend #COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
New analysis from #KickBigPollutersOut finds that there are more Big Polluter representatives at COP29 than there are delegates from the ten most climate-vulnerable nations.
This is outrageous, and Big Polluter interference will cost millions of people their homes, livelihoods, and lives. We need to #WeedOutTheSnakes NOW!
🌡️ Global temperatures and greenhouse gas emissions are at all-time highs.
So why are 1770+ of fossil fuel lobbyists being given access to #COP29?
Big Polluters shouldn't get to dictate the terms of climate action after setting the planet on fire. We need:
➡️People In
⚠️#PollutersOut
✅An Accountability Framework to protect the talks from industry interference
We must #WeedOutTheSnakes and #KickBigPollutersOut NOW!
