If I'd tried to run a second product back then, @clickfunnels would have died before it ever cleared $100M in ARR.
It needed every hour I had. Focusing on one thing was the only way it survived. Today, it would be a different story.

My birthday was last Thursday.
Instead of taking the day off, I'm opening up something I've been building for the last two years, and @clickfunnels members get first access before the 11,000 people on the waitlist.
It's called @overskillapp
You describe an app in as little as one prompt, and it writes the code, builds the database, sets up logins, and turns on payments without you needing to touch anything technical.

In my early years I was building constantly. Websites for local businesses, side projects and ideas I'd ship and see what happened. I was learning fast and the cost of being wrong was low. Looking back, there was something right about that instinct.
But then @clickfunnels happened.
And everything I thought I knew about how to build got rewritten.
For the better part of a decade I did what every good mentor told me to do. I focused. One company. One mission. All in. It was the only thing that made sense at the time.
You couldn't build something that serves 100,000 entrepreneurs and run five other things at the same time.
Focus was a structural requirement of success.
ClickFunnels processed over $12 billion in customer revenue. I don't regret a single year of that focus.
But something has shifted.
Right now I'm running ClickFunnels, Payments.ai, DailyDraft, Overskill, and Daimon.bot. @russellbrunson and I have another ten in the pipeline.
From the outside it probably looks like I've lost the plot. Like I forgot the lesson.
I haven't.
In the early days I was running many things because I was young, had nothing to lose, and was still figuring out what to build.
The energy was right but the economics were fragile.
Now I'm running many things because the constraint that made focus necessary no longer exists the way it did.
AI agents don't have hours. They don't have energy. They work across five projects at 3AM without losing context or getting tired.
Act one was many things â out of curiosity and necessity.
Act two was one thing â out of discipline and constraint.
Act three is many things again â but this time by design.
The one-company-per-founder era has ended.

I coded the first version of ClickFunnels alone, over six months. It did one thing extremely well:
Funnels.
But funnels were only half the problem. The businesses showing up needed email, CRM, courses, memberships, automations, payments and they were still stitching the rest together by hand.
So we kept building. What @clickfunnels is in 2026 looks nothing like that first version. Today it handles the full stack:
đ ď¸Â Build your funnel: drag and drop editor, sales pages, countdown timers, smart checkout, A/B testing.
đ¸Â Sell anything: Physical products, courses, memberships, subscriptions. You have one checkout and one dashboard that connects everything.
đĽÂ Grow your audience: Email marketing, SMS, community, surveys, appointments. Everything your customer touches after they find you is right here.
âď¸Â Power the back-end of your business: CRM, pipelines, automations, analytics, affiliate center.
And now, this is all powered by AI. A co-builder, trained on your business, writing your copy, designing your pages, handling payments, building alongside you.
The businesses that used to need a developer, a designer, and four separate tools can now move in an afternoon.
That's what those 6 months were really building toward.

This should NOT be a hot take:
Your customers will tell you exactly what to build.
You just need to listen more.
Pay attention to your DMs, reviews, support chats, etc.
That's how the best funnels get built and how the best offers sell

The beauty of a sales letter funnel?
You set it up once, and it runs on its own.
Every path is decided in advance, so the funnel routes each customer through the next step.
They buy â an upsell is waiting.
They pass â a downsell catches them.
Have you tried this one?

Funnels donât convert better by accident.
Theyâre built around human behavior.
Before buying, people always ask:
Do I trust this? Do I need this now? Has it worked for others?
When your funnel is aligned with how people actually think? Conversion stops being a struggle.
