London Marathon - 2:44😊
Best thing was definitely the crowds. Great day out. Another great experience and always feel privileged to run this great distance. Time to recovery and enjoy.
1:18 for @ManchesterHalf
Best I’ve felt racing. Really enjoyed the event and course. Looking forward to seeing how this impacts on next years Marathon 😁
I enjoy the grind of training each day more than racing itself. It’s the predictability and consistent routine that I enjoy. However standing on the start line with uncertainty ahead gives its own unique excitement.
Great day racing yesterday - can’t wait to go again!
British Masters National Champs 🥉!
Imposter syndrome entering this, but life’s too short to be a spectator and think what if… only went and grabbed third place 😱
England Masters Race. Respectable 10th out 19th for age group in 🏴vs🏴
90th over all. Loved every minute!
79:03 for the half marathon… onwards and upwards😁
First race of the year. Carlisle to Gretna. Ready to push on this year. New club, different vest but same focus!
All roads lead to London.

Evening track race. Really enjoying these efforts. Some super talented youth section across north Cumbria. Racing against a former pupil too and seeing former teaching colleague starting the race!
🏴Great Manchester Half Marathon- England Masters Qualifier.
More of a tactical race today and came 1st over 45! Great event, looking forward to wearing England vest next year🏴🤯
Assembly sorted for tomorrow😆
Track racing debut aged 46😁- 5000m✅.
Really enjoyed this at the weekend. Whole new ball game really, but got 5 more track events pencilled in over the next few months.
National Road Relays - Sutton Park. Picture says everything.
Went for it and gave it my all. So grateful to be apart of this amazing event, even with massive imposter syndrome! Team finished top 30- absolutely class from everyone.
Seville Marathon-2:46.
Absolutely loved it. Some Cumbrian shouted in true dialect ‘Gaarn On Border Lad…’ made me smile for ages😁
@BorderHarriers @TeachersRunClub
Really enjoyed racing today as the build up to #LondonMarathon continues. Solid hour in the legs. 7 weeks to go… @TeachersRunClub
Local half marathon today- finished🥉. Ran on my own from mile 1, couldn’t chase down 2nd, but did enough to keep ahead of 4th…Really tough conditions. Loved it! @TeachersRunClub
