When thinking about the key messages of the #climate stories "Don't tell everyone everything - tell people what they can act on". We want people to not be overwhelmed but empowered and to undertake intentional action

I'm in the #COP26 Capacity hub in the "Climate Storyteller Collective" session.
#Stories help people connect with each other and the #climate 💚 but we must be clear on the stories' purpose and the bigger picture (why will this story matter to the audience & the intended impact)

Overheard at #COP26 - “Bolsonaro’s happy to stop deforestation in 2030 cos he’ll have chopped it all down by then”. Day three and the black humour’s kicking in already – at Glasgow, Scotland

The panel begins with land acknowledgment, then emphasizes values of coordinating, making connections, centering education, ensuring participation and the keystone, justice, #ClimateAction work #AmericasAllInCoalition @USACECoalition @ClimateGenOrg @UMNIonE @umnsusted – at Glasgow, Scotland

Hearing how the climate change community used to tell people like
@FeliciaMDavis that #Justice as priority for #ClimateAction would have to wait (until what?). She’s in @USACECoalition because “it’s about the people.” #mncop26 #COP26 – at Glasgow, Scotland

🚨🔥I just dropped a new #HotFERCSummer jam! As climate activist @Fergie would say, the FERCalicious definition is to make our planet cooler.
Coming home to air conditioning when it’s “hot-hot”? That’s FERCalicious. Cleaner, cheaper electricity for every American? #FERCalicious.
Thanks for this great work on justice and climate empowerment to foster action @educatordeb @isa_bori @sherpapd @Danaespinozah
