It all boils down to what I'm doing, having my hair short or tied like my permansor terrae is more convenient during combat, as I can move my head more freely and lightly.. I don't need to brush out knots either, which can be annoying.

But, when I'm resting or doing something that requires less movement, I don't mind having my hair long and down. Fidgeting with it is quite therapeutic.
