At the CLC, we understand that an individual who makes $30,000 may struggle to afford a private attorney. This is why we charge at a low cost, sliding scale well below market rates. Donations from our generous supporters are what fill in the gap for us!

We value legacy at the CLC and are proud to claim that we help Memphians leave theirs. Our civil law staff is well-versed and ready to help a family pass down generational wealth and security through wills, estates, and other probate matters.

Did you know that the average income in Memphis is $28,258? This means the average Memphian does not qualify for legal aid but isn't in the best financial position to afford a private attorney. Fortunately, the CLC has our neighbor's backs when the unexpected happens. 💙
