Highway 21 between Bastrop and San Marcos might be the worst stretch of road in Texas.
It’s 35 miles of one-lane, bumper-to-bumper misery chalk full of red lights, tons of 18-wheelers, and explosive growth with seemingly zero infrastructure improvements.
An absolute beatdown
Can A&M reporters please start asking more football questions like this and cut the goofy storyline routines?

This is correct. I know we break down film and show a lot of warts, but college football is as fluid and dynamic as it ever has been in its history. Turnarounds happen fast in both directions.
Now is not the time to fight the coach or the athletic director. Now is the time to push harder and if Coach Elko is who I think/hope he is I can’t help but believe he can figure it out.
We cannot just rush to an extension then hold a coach at arms length angry at the first major sign of adversity and start working to undermine them.
Donors, regents, Trev Alberts, get behind this dude in the offseason hard and let’s build a machine.
I’ve been thinking a lot about Elko’s tenure here at A&M and the struggles of this season. My final thought is that over the off-season, the only choice A&M has is to double and triple down.
You invested in Elko and now you have to do whatever you can to help him succeed
You have to spend top dollar on an offensive coordinator/staff and go hard in the portal. The only path to success for A&M right now is via Elko succeeding here.

We are trying to get a time where we can all record, shooting for tonight.
I'm gonna be honest, we all are doing things we actually enjoy instead of watching this absolutely disgusting film.
Shooting to record tonight. We will not be scouting the Citadel either this week. I may jump on and show some film of other offenses on Thursday (a full film transfer portal episode). Thank you guys for your support!

Still baffling how many well paid CFB HC's got contract extensions and new deals based on the success of one season.
With CFB having so much turnover year to year with the portal, curious to see if AD's learn their lesson, or still continue to get absolutely worked by agents

I have no idea how Texas A&M spent over $40 million on this roster. This makes the Mets look like they got great value.

The Play Callers I admire the most genuinely view the design of an Offense as an art form.
They don't ask ChatGPT for Cover 3 beaters.
They draw and redraw. They tinker and test ideas.
When you turn on the tape, you can tell when an Offense has soul.
You can also tell when an OC is copying someone else's ideas or playing the greatest hits from the year before.
Artists evolve.
Copycats crumble.
