I swear I didn't know about this when I published my Agentic User Interface (AUI) framework just hours before their announcement.
And yet here we are — another huge step closer to our agentic future and headless internet, with AUIs coming to the fore.
Wild.
And it doesn't stop there.
AUIs likely represent the future of ALL human-machine interaction — not just the internet.
Operating systems. Cars. Robots.
The irony? As AUIs mature, we will spend LESS time looking at screens.
The best interface disappears entirely.
We're still just at the start of this tectonic shift from pages to protocols, interaction to intention.
