At approximately 18:30 hrs, Stations 1 and 2 responded to a fully involved garage fire at 7631 Grande River Line. There were no injuries reported. The estimated loss is approximately $250,000 for the garage and its contents. The cause of the fire remains undetermined.

This morning’s incident on Scane Stret in #chatham. Enbridge has stopped the gas leak. It was caused by a loose connection underground. The smoke that was seen may have come from the soil heating up. Residents can return home, and repairs to the gas line are now underway.

LTVCA has upgraded their Watch to a Flood Warning. Water levels are high and will continue to rise. Please avoid the river, ditches and streams and do not drive through flooded roadways. During a flood be sure to follow all safety instructions provided by emergency responders.
