Just finished my final bits of handover for @Manor_School @NeneEducation, sent a final message to our leadership team and signed out of my account on all devices. End of an era.
Now to spend the rest of this weekend with my incredible family before a new journey begins Monday.
It seems that may of those I follow are making the change so I've ade a start.

We are extremely proud of the determination, hard work and resilience of our sixth form students at @Manor_School
For the first time in my teaching career, I'm not heading to school this morning for pre-results prep, or tomorrow for results day. Being a father is taking priority this week. I wish students and schools everywhere all the best for this week.
Something happened this week that reminded me about love and unity rather than the rubbish that has been happening.
Baby Bateman arrived safely on Thursday, and it is an incredible feeling. He is so loved.
Well the time has come. After 6 years, today was my last day at @Manor_School
Since my first day as Assistant Principal, to my last as Vice Principal, I can honestly say I have loved working with some of the most incredible colleagues.
So now it's time for a change. I'm heading back to Oxfordshire.
I'm moving to a great school, much closer to home, saving 48 miles a day.
And I'm incredibly excited to gain the time to spend with the now imminent arrival of Baby Bateman.
It's been a pleasure Manor. Bato out.
I couldn't let the moment pass without a special thanks to this one. Who gets me into silly situations. Who has kept me organised, sane and made sure I ate and drank. Who supported me through the toughest time of my life.
