I asked Claude Code to dual-boot Windows on my Ubuntu laptop. No USB, and I was asleep for most of it.

1/ No USB? It used part of my 1 TB HDD as a hidden installer drive
2/ Tested the Ubuntu shrink on throwaway disk images first. Caught a bug that would have wiped data
3/ Wrote a Windows install script that checks the exact SSD model and size first, and falls back to normal setup if anything looks off
4/ Made a rescue kit and a handover doc before rebooting
Result tomorrow morning 🤞
