Recent studies continue to support a cause & effect relationship between glyphosate and cancer.
“Accumulating evidence supports the role of oxidative stress in the pathogenesis of hematologic cancers,” such as lymphoma, myeloma and leukemia.”

I think patriotism and nationalism can be very negative & divisive, but do not have to be. I would love to see us expressing patriotism by supporting each other and loving our country enough to demand positive social change.

The Dutch know how to do city cycling right! What an innovative facility.
Today @AmsterdamNL Central Station opened a new bike parking facility, which was not built on or underground, but underwater.
As city's largest such facility, the Stationsplein bike garage was built under the Open Havenfront and can store 7,000 bicycles.

I love cooking with gas and have done for decades. I considered electric induction stoves inferior to gas. But recent articles and studies have completely changed my mind. This article summarizes and cites research which is worth considering.
Thanks, @commondreams, for reposting my gas stove essay written for @SEHNetwork!

Happy trails Jeff. You are missed.
I met Jeff Beck when I was 17 and I was glad to know a guy like that, a guy who was able to show me how this guitar playing thing should be approached and that’s still very much the case. Jeff was a wondrous soul and we already miss him tremendously.

#WinterSolstice is almost here!
When the sun aligns through this gap in the stones it can only mean one thing… we’re close to the #WinterSolstice.
Stonehenge was built to frame this annual solar event, so the monument has been silently marking the Solstice for thousands of years.

Mars is at it's closest to Earth. Here's a photo I captured of it last night using a 14" telescope. You can clearly see the northern polar ice cap! I'm working hard to learn to overcome the challenges of planetary photography to bring you the best images of Mars at opposition.

A lunar eclipse and meteors? Oh, my! 🤩
November skies will be filled with celestial magic: the Leonid meteor shower happens all month, a total lunar eclipse comes on Nov. 8, and the Moon and Mars share the sky with a bright star.

"What keeps us going, ultimately, is our love for each other, and our refusal to bow our heads, to accept the verdict, however all-powerful it seems. It’s what ordinary people have to do. You have to love each other. You have to defend each other. You have to fight.” Mike Davis

The least y'all should have learned over the last two years is that coughing and sneezing into the air around others is NASTY. If you have symptoms, put on that damn mask!
