Since 2022, Civic Future has grown from a single Fellowship into policy courses, workshops, crisis simulations and two Talent Programmes.
It’s a school in all but name.

UKDF is non-partisan and does not fund any party-political activities. We do fund activities that develop policies to build UK dynamism, which we’d love every party to adopt.

bring on the summit tomorrow!

Our Chief Executive, Munira Mirza, writing in the Times:
“Most people, including politicians, still care about their country. But it will take more than performatively flying the flag during political speeches. National identity must be rebuilt through deeds.”

New @sci_works essay 🧵
British innovation strategy is fixated on a simple story: unis generate ideas, start-ups commercialise them, government helps them scale.
This is legible, politically attractive, & wrong.
Policy built on it will deliver neither breakthroughs nor growth.
Fantastic day yesterday at the Greater London Project conference! And it was great to see so many of our members there, and be a part of great discussions about the city. Particular huge thanks to @civic_future, @KingsCollegeLon and @WorksInProgMag for their support.
