Hi all! I am at the @WeinsteinConf today presenting our work on flexible bioelectronics + engineered cardiac tissues (+ a poster on mapping)
If anyone is around, let’s catch up and discuss!

Did you know cancer cells can be electrically active, just like neurons? This electrical activity plays a key role in tumor progression. Excited to share my first postdoc paper at @TheCrick (and first paper from @LiGroup_Crick), published in @Nature!

I'm not sure y'all understand how fiercely competitive NIH grants are. It took me years of work and multiple tries to get this. The part I personally feel the most cheated about, halfway into yr 2 of a 5 yr grant, is that 5 years ago this would have made my career. But now...?
🎉🎉OMG🎉🎉
I just got my very first RO1, to develop a predictive diagnostic for #Lyme that would allow us to distinguish between disease trajectories and I am SO excited about what my group together with the Lauffenburger lab are going to be able to discover with this support!!!
