Call me paranoid, but be extra careful visiting ANY web site in the next few days, as some web admins are not always up-to-date with security patches.
Two vulnerabilities (CVE-2026-109618 and CVE-2026-109619) reported for PHP, the web programming language, affecting servers running popular apps like WordPress and Magento, with patches released October 21, 2026 after details leaked early.
Exploitation was confirmed in the wild soon after disclosure, prompting quick WAF protections and patching by IT teams, as unauthenticated attacks could turn visited sites into vectors for credential theft or device exploits.
Stay SAFU!

Thoughts on a Red Day
Red days always put me in review mode.
I cannot see my PnL go deep red without going all the way back to the first Bitcoin I bought in 2014 and replaying the whole path.
When I do that honestly, I see a performance that, by my own standards, has been exceptional. That does not mean clean execution. I have made brutal mistakes, overstayed positions, sold early, misread cycles, and repeatedly left money on the table.
If I try to quantify it, I think I have cashed out around one third of what I theoretically could have. The interesting part is that even that one third has given me outcomes I could not have imagined when I pressed buy on that first BTC.
Whenever I see results like that, in any area of my life, I end up asking the same question: what in me produced this.
I find that question genuinely intriguing. I ask it often.
I do not always like the answers, but I keep asking because I am obsessed with patterns.
Over the years I have collected many explanations.
Some felt true in the moment and then faded when time exposed their weaknesses. Others survived longer and still hold.
Today's answer feels different.
It fits my past, it explains my present, and it matches the way I plan to move through the future, because it describes how I actually approach things at the core.
I perform above average because I know I’m not above average.
That sentence can sound arrogant at first glance, yet for me it has been the opposite.
It is the most honest description of how I try to walk into any field. I assume I have no special advantage. I assume there are people who are naturally more talented, more intelligent, more experienced.
I do not fight that.
I accept it fully.
As soon as I do that, there is nothing for the world to prove to me later. I have already done the job. I have already humbled myself.
That is what I mean by front running the humbling.
In life you either humble yourself or life will eventually do it for you.
When you humble yourself before you begin, you enter every challenge with a very clear starting point. You know you will have to work harder than everyone else, because you do not see yourself as better than anyone else.
That mindset removes entitlement and replaces it with responsibility.
This is where talent, intellect, and hard work come in.
Those are the three levers people pull in any competitive environment.
Talent is largely given.
Intelligence is partly given and partly built.
Hard work is fully within your control.
If you start from the belief that you are naturally more talented or more intelligent than most, you will lean on that and your work ethic will eventually suffer.
When you start from the opposite belief, when you truly internalize that you are not more talented and not more intelligent than the average person in the arena, the only remaining option is effort.
Hard work, applied consistently, changes your mind.
You see more, you understand more, you connect more dots.
Over time that effort compounds into intelligence about the domain you are in. At that point you have stacked two out of the three levers.
Suddenly you find yourself outperforming most people, which is almost ironic, because the entire edge came from accepting that you were not better than them in the first place.
When I look at my crypto journey through this lens, the answer makes sense.
That one third I managed to realize did not come from perfect timing or superior instincts. It came from years of staying close to the market, learning from every cycle, forcing myself to review mistakes, and never assuming I had it all figured out.
I have asked myself why I perform the way I do many times.
Some answers were convenient narratives that later broke. Some were partially true.
But this one, this one feels complete.
I’m sharing this because this was an "aha" moment for me. If it becomes one for someone else, then it was worth sharing.

Do you remember when you were a kid and you used to play games in the pool to see who could hold their breath the longest?
Since 10/10, we've been playing that game in crypto
Short term holders, altcoin and leveraged portfolios can't take it anymore.

This is why x402 is so powerful: it simplifies and standardizes payments for AI agents.
Traditional payment rails are slow, have chargeback risks, and require manual intervention to work.
Instead, x402 leverages crypto to enable AI agents and API providers to trustlessly settle payments instantly.
This will open up AI agents to be truly autonomous moving forward and will allow API providers to create new business models around the data and services that they provide both to agents and humans.

These days underscore how compressed the horizon for trading has become.
Surging PPI figures will likely compel the Trump administration to act decisively, striking deals that could unwind inflationary pressure far more rapidly than conventional models anticipate.
Trump’s imperative is clear: low interest rates, and history suggests he will secure them…..by policy or by circumstance.
I stand by this, idgaf about PPI.
The Fed has no optionality left.
IMO, Powell’s tone revealed a kind of institutional paralysis. The market still believes the Fed has choices.
I don’t. Optionality died today.
Either the economy justifies a cut soon, or Trump forces one.
That’s it. That’s the entire range of outcomes.
Cut prediction percentages are now irrelevant.
If inflation continues to cool, the Fed cuts under the guise of “normalization” before the election.
If it doesn’t, Trump makes Powell a campaign villain, and the Fed folds under political pressure to preserve its own legitimacy. Cutting becomes the lesser evil.
The Fed can’t hike again without triggering systemic stress.
It can’t hold steady without becoming the story.
So it has to cut, either because it’s allowed to, or because refusing to will cost it more than inflation ever could.
Markets might still think Powell has his hands on the wheel.
In my opinion, that illusion ended today.
The Fed will cut because it’s no longer allowed not to.

The Replay Trade Trap
After a successful trade, many traders feel compelled to do it again. The setup looks similar, the thesis still applies, and the token gives what looks like a second chance.
But the second trade fails more often than not, because the trader is no longer neutral.
The first trade is approached with patience, discipline, and uncertainty. You wait for confirmation, manage risk carefully, and execute with detachment.
The second time, you carry expectation. You've already seen it work, so you're biased toward it working again. This leads to premature entries, looser risk management, and overconfidence.
The illusion is that if a trade worked once, it should work again. But that ignores context. The first trade included your patience. The second trade often includes your bias.
That changes everything.
Repeatable trades do exist, but only for those who can wait for a clean setup again. Most traders don’t. They force it. They try to relive the outcome instead of re-earning the entry.
Ironically, the first win gives you the right to wait. You’re not under pressure. You’ve already made money.
That optionality, to wait, to pass, to demand precision, is the edge most traders give away the moment they “recognize” a setup.
The second trade can work. But only if you approach it with the same patience as the first.
If you rush it, you’re not repeating the trade, you’re undoing it.
If the setup never comes back, that’s fine. You already won. Don't let greed turn a clean trade into a round trip.

Lessons in leverage.
I strictly sit in SPOT. Don't lever up anything, not even 2X. I try to stay very disciplined.
THEN came along JLP Multiply.
I was testing various yield farming strategies, including some standard stablecoin ones, that were generating ~10% at the time. I threw 100K to test JLP Multiply and the returns were way better than the lower risk ones.
I dug deeper into JLP, never had any really major drawdowns, seemed stable + the trading fees it earns will blunt any negative price action, etc... What could go wrong? I aped quite a lot of size into it.
In retrospect it was close to the top. Right after I bought, the chart started puking, primarily due to the Tariff drama. Bad timing.
You see all the buys after it, those were to PROTECT the position from getting liquidated.
I done fucked up. Life was comfy sitting in spot and here I was now having to monitor liquidation prices closely on a daily basis. One of the more stressful times of my life.
I am writing this now, as I was able to withstand the dump and the position is quite healthy now.
Lessons learned? Avoid any semblance of high leverage. Still love JLP. Multiply product at lower leverage is quite comfy even though I do recommend avoiding almost all leverage if possible for peace of mind. I will be derisking soon to get off all leverage.

My take as to why SOL is underperforming:
- SOL outperformance is driven by onchain attention
- When onchain is thriving $SOL pumps
Right now most coins are moving less than $BTC with exception of things like SUI and TAO
Eventually, people will move further down risk and start betting onchain
The majority of flows and attention will flow into SOL, there's no reason to think onchain season won't be happening here
Once that happens SOL will outperform.
This is all assuming that we're not in a dead cat bounce (I have no idea)

As usual, I like to analyze BTC on Saturday mornings when the waters are calm and the sea is flat, that's when I can clearly see about three possible scenarios, which I’ll now outline for you.
I'll start with the scenario I had anticipated and for which I’m currently positioned.
WEEKLY SUPPLY INTO MONTHLY DEMAND
The first scenario (which, again, is the one I’m hoping for and currently positioned for) involves price moving from the weekly supply zone into the monthly demand zone, currently sitting just below the 80k level.
This is a swing that requires both patience and specific events to unfold. However, a clear acceptance above the red band would invalidate my idea and lead me to consider the second scenario as more likely.
Seeing BTC accepted above 98 would invalidate the idea of an UTAD above last week’s mini-range. On the other hand, fast price acceptance back below 95,800 would give me confidence in the validity of this scenario.
Now let’s move on to the second one, in case this proves to be incorrect.

Sunday tip
The impulse to screenshot and share a win is not random, it’s the purest sign that you’ve outpaced your own expectations.
That rush to flex isn’t about the money. It’s about the internal disbelief: "I wasn’t supposed to get here this fast."
But when you beat your own expectations, that’s exactly when you’re most vulnerable. The mind shifts from gratitude to greed, from wonder to recklessness.
If you were already surprised, honor the surprise....take profits.
Because in memecoins, the first surprise is a gift.
The second is usually a lesson you wish you didn’t have to learn.

Later you can consider making profits, but the most important thing is not to lose money and only with that you will be one of the best traders.

When the purpose is money, there is no purpose.
When the purpose is money, you'll abandon it the moment it stops paying.
It sounds provocative, but only because we’ve been taught the opposite for so long. We live in a world where money is glorified as the ultimate goal. It’s dressed up as success, disguised as freedom, paraded as meaning. But money, at its core, is none of those things. It’s not the meaning of the work, it’s the measurement of it. It’s not the destination, it’s the fuel. And when you confuse the two, you build a life, a career, or a company with no center of gravity.
Money has no gravity. Purpose does.
Money doesn’t pull you forward when things get hard. It doesn’t inspire loyalty. It doesn’t spark innovation. It doesn't hold you up when things go south.
Only purpose does that.
Purpose is the quiet force that keeps you in the game when there’s nothing left to gain. It’s what makes you suffer voluntarily, what makes setbacks tolerable, what gives sacrifices their dignity.
This is true whether you’re building a career, a company, or a life. If money is your reason, you’ll eventually find a reason to quit. Because the path will get hard. It always does. And when it does, money won’t be enough to keep you going, because it was never enough to start with.
That’s why founders who build with vision outlast the ones who build for valuation. That’s why artists who create from truth outlive the trends. And it’s why people with a purpose outpace the ones chasing paychecks. Because when you’re pulled by something real, you move differently. You build differently. You endure.
You don’t need to reject money. You just need to reframe it.
Money is a tool, not a truth.
It’s a consequence, not a calling.
The irony is, once you stop making money the goal, you start doing work that attracts it. People want to fund purpose. They want to follow it. They want to be part of it.
So if you’re going to spend your life building something, make sure it’s something that could matter even if it never makes you rich. That’s the work worth doing. And that’s the work that makes you rich in ways money never will.
Because when the purpose is money, there is no purpose.
But when the purpose is real, the rewards (financial and otherwise) take care of themselves.

Fartcoin is THE survivor of the great carnage of 2025
It will go much higher from here, but this is what will happen:
- Most will buy too late, lose money
- It will go sideways/down
- Those who lost will drive new runners
- Dilution happens
- Everything dies again due to fractured liquidity
It's just how it is naturally.
If you want to play this, either commit to not buying Fartcoin or be at peace with the fact that you're top blasting and ride it - there is no in between.

To those saying Ethereum is dead - you're wrong.
I’ve made similar statements in the past, but the reality is more nuanced.
$ETH is weak because it was once priced as a monopoly on mindshare and usage.
Solana and other high-performance L1s have steadily weakened that position. The result is a slow bleed (complacency) in relative valuation as the market internalizes that Ethereum is no longer the only viable platform.
Ethereum isn’t losing value, its market cap is simply converging toward a more realistic valuation.
IMO that's a reflection of a maturing market.
And no, this isn’t a dunk.
The same correction could happen to $SOL if better chains appear and capture value.
