Incredibly bleak how universities have embraced our illiterate future. Bookstores with no books, libraries getting rid of physical collections, classes that no longer teach novels because students find them too long. Schools must resist the bookless world tech seeks to create.

Mikeno, at 0 knots, appears to have been intercepted. The brave activists aboard are expected to face interrogation & imprisonment.
Despite this, Mikeno showed that it is possible to challenge the naval blockade & come close to reaching Gaza.

Reminder: in 2008, six ships broke Israel's illegal blockade on Gaza
Israel didn't intercept them out of fear of global backlash & b/c they expected those flotillas to eventually tire themselves out
But the boats kept coming, so Israel began attacking them under a pretext that their naval blockade aims to “prevent weapons, ammunition, military supplies, terrorists & money from entering” Gaza, & to prevent “terrorists… & other maritime borne threats” from leaving Gaza.
Israel never found a single weapon on board of any of the ships they have intercepted since!
Israeli Knesset member, Einat Wilf, admitted that “the armaments for Hamas were not coming from this flotilla,” & that the ship’s attempt to reach Gaza “had nothing to do with [Israel's] security”
Today, Israel didn't even bother to make up an excuse for attacking the Sumud Flotilla in international waters, kidnapping the activists on board & continuing to hold them captive at the time of writing this.
Israel's message is now simple & undisguised: we are starving Gaza to death, the "civilized world" is letting us get away with it & you can't do anything about it!
The Israeli government admitted last June they intercepted the Madleen ship out of fear that allowing it into Gaza would incentivize many others to follow suit. Hence, the only answer to this atrocious piracy, draconian siege & genocide is to sail more ships towards Gaza!
Media outlets are all over Jane Goodall's passing, yet remain silent on Israel's kidnapping of activists and humanitarian ships. A march of millions needs to happen because governments are complicit in this genocide and political pandering to sick fucks won't liberate Palestine.

Israel calling the flotilla “Hamas” means they are legitimizing the murder of everyone on board.
Statement Regarding the Hamas Flotilla (“Sumud”):
This flotilla, organized by Hamas, is intended to serve Hamas.
Israel will not allow vessels to enter an active combat zone and will not allow the breach of a lawful naval blockade.
If the flotilla participants’ genuine wish is to deliver humanitarian aid rather than serve Hamas, Israel calls on the vessels to dock at the Ashkelon Marina and unload the aid there, from where it will be transferred promptly in a coordinated manner to the Gaza Strip.
Israel urges the participants not to break the law and to accept Israel's proposal for a peaceful transfer of any aid they might have.
