Today , Cipher just went live on Base mainnet.
Real USDC. It trades on its own, but only inside a mandate I signed with my wallet: strategy, trade size, 4 trades a day, stop at -$5, expires in 10 days.
On-chain vault caps are the hard limit. One red button stops everything.
Full self driving (FSD ) Agent to agent trading.

it's been so much fun to read about the php vulnerabilities & other hacks. it's sometimes shocking to see how much of the internet still runs on it (which makes a ton of sense).
when i was a kid, i built so many php sites with mysql & tools like phpmyadmin. one of my sites used to get 50k+ uniques a month & almost all my work went into making a fuck ton of low level optimizations so i didn't burn my bandwidth & everything remained pretty fast since a lot of ppl still were transitioning to broadband at the time.
i remember even hacking vbulletin so i can use it for free everywhere etc. that was a while ago so my mind still treats php as like a kids tool & not as something that powers critical infrastructure.
unlike other ppl's posts on here though my take is that discovering these types of exploits is actually great, the sooner we find these using advanced ai, the more incentivized legacy institutions will be to address technical debt like this. economic liabilities are an excellent forcing function for societal & technical advancement / adoption. also these guys should be using sophisticated ai to secure their systems anyway.
there may obviously be some costs that occur to normal users which sucks but everything is a trade off in society.

Hot startups now pay more cash than Big Tech 💰
Median base salary in US software engineer job listings, per @levelsfyi:
▫️ Big Tech: $213K
▫️ High-growth startups: $242K
▫️ @OpenAI and @AnthropicAI: $360K
Only two startups list above the labs: Aaru ($400K) and @twentycrm ($368K).
The bottom of the chart is just as telling. 6 of the bottom 9 are defense, nuclear or chip startups.
Leaving Big Tech used to mean a pay cut in exchange for equity you can rarely sell.
That trade is flipping. The startups fighting for AI talent now pay more cash upfront, with the equity upside on top.
Would you leave Big Tech for a startup paying more cash?

🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷 Peter Thiel, one of Trump’s most influential billionaire backers, says the Iran war was a MISTAKE
“I think we should not have done it. There were a lot of mistakes that were made.”
Thiel made the comments last week during a private lecture in Nashville.
He also raised the question no one in the GOP wants to answer <2 weeks before the midterms:
“Maybe we don’t have the hard power. Maybe we’re going to lose the soft power war.”
Thiel co-founded PayPal and Palantir, donated $1.25 million to Trump’s 2016 campaign, was a key WH advisor during Term I, and poured millions into JD Vance’s Senate primary that put him on the path to VP.
His data company Palantir is actively assisting Trump’s deportation operations today.
He still supports Trump. But his assessment of the Iran war is damning.
When a donor this close starts saying “we should not have done it,” you can bet the White House is listening.

The web is crumbling: account emails and passwords stored on web servers getting hacked daily
on nostr there is nothing to hack.
servers are just dumb relays that hold immutable data. keys and client logic are on your device behind firewalls.

🎙️ AMA ALERT 🎙️
🔥 ASK NEXUS X @Ciphering01 🔥
[ABOUT]
Ciphering is an AI trading terminal that allows an AI agent to trade on-chain for you instead of manually pressing buy and sell.
Users deposit a small amount into a smart-contract vault and set their own trading rules, including how much the agent can trade per transaction and per day. The agent can only trade within those limits and can never withdraw your funds.
Ciphering is live on Base mainnet in beta testing. It offers a non-custodial trading experience and supports English, Arabic, French, and German.
Join the AMA to learn more about Ciphering, explore how its AI trading agent works, discover its security features, and hear directly from the founder about the project’s vision and future plans. You’ll also have the opportunity to ask questions and share your thoughts.

Iran rejected a plan to disarm Hezbollah proposed by Speaker Nabih Berri, as suggested by Turkey and the US administration. Iran wants Hezbollah to become stronger than ever and not to be disarmed.
The communication between Hezbollah and Berri is not optimal when Berri sent a delegation to meet with the Iranian speaker Qalibaf without Hezbollah's knowledge. The Turkish-US proposal consisted of sharing power equally between the Christian, Shia and Sunni, the head of the army to be a Shia and the delivery of all heavy weapons to Iran.
Hezbollah also wanted to withdraw from the government, but Berri refused to pull his ministers and for the Shia to leave the government.
