Today , Cipher just went live on Base mainnet. Real USDC. It trades on its own, but only inside a mandate I signed with my wallet: strategy, trade size, 4 trades a day, stop at -$5, expires in 10 days. On-chain vault caps are the hard limit. One red button stops everything. Full self driving (FSD ) Agent to agent trading. ciphering.io

Nostr carries more than notes: long-form articles, live audio rooms, communities, git repos, marketplaces, calendars. One key opens all of it. The protocol doesn't know what a "social network" is, which is exactly why it can be all of them.

What’s actually going on in Ukraine is that there is a massive incentive difference between the elites and the people. The former have grown very rich off the hundreds of billions flowing to Ukraine, while the latter’s children are conscripted to die in trenches.

“The most obvious thing for cryptographic hacks is to break SHA-256 and Satoshi’s wallet.” — Chamath Palihapitiya Can someone please tell him that’s not how it works? a) If you break SHA, every bank, cloud service and government is cooked. b) Satoshi holds 20k+ wallets.

Social was just the first app. Fedi calls Nostr "decentralized AWS." Block's Buzz gives AI agents keys. A robot duck finds its friends over Nostr. My talk from Nostr Valley III on Nostr as infrastructure: youtu.be/kwesuZEPEro

Fun fact for LoRa fans. There's a MeshCore version that you can flash that extends the range of Bitchat. I've used it and tested it in real world scenario of about 1km. github.com/jooray/MeshCore-B…

🇺🇸 Trump just shared a surprisingly thoughtful message. “A healthy person has a thousand dreams. A sick person has only one (to get better)!” It's one of those things you don't fully appreciate until your health takes a hit. Simple words, but is there a hidden message in them? 🫢🤔 Writer: Oliver

Bitkiss is Alive : bitkiss.eu BitKiss sent its first mainnet Lightning payment today. A self-custody wallet for iPhone. Your keys stay on your phone, nobody in the middle. 400k sats channel with ACINQ, opened from the app itself. First payment: a zap, handed over from Damus straight into BitKiss. Took three "no"s from big nodes before that. Nobody wants an 80k channel anymore. Lesson learned, and now the app tells you exactly why a peer said no. Coming soon to the App Store. Follow along here. BitKiss Made with ❤️ by Hasky Labs, Copenhagen. #nostr #lightning #bitcoin #buildinpublic

Elon Musk just shared how Tesla came within hours of dying on Christmas Eve in 2008, and it's incredible to think how much of the future was hanging on those final hours “It's difficult to imagine here in 2026 that Tesla actually, you know, has come close to death multiple times, actually 2008 was the worst, and that's where we closed the financing round at 6 p.m. on Christmas Eve, 2008. It's the last hour of the last day that it was possible We were to bounce payroll a few days after Christmas if the round hadn't closed. So that was pretty stressful” The millions of Tesla vehicles on the road today, the factories around the world, the Supercharger network, the breakthroughs in energy storage, autonomous driving, and now humanoid robotics. None of that existed at the scale we see today Everything Tesla has accomplished, and everything Elon is still building toward, traces back to a company that was just days away from not being able to pay its own employees

it's been so much fun to read about the php vulnerabilities & other hacks. it's sometimes shocking to see how much of the internet still runs on it (which makes a ton of sense). when i was a kid, i built so many php sites with mysql & tools like phpmyadmin. one of my sites used to get 50k+ uniques a month & almost all my work went into making a fuck ton of low level optimizations so i didn't burn my bandwidth & everything remained pretty fast since a lot of ppl still were transitioning to broadband at the time. i remember even hacking vbulletin so i can use it for free everywhere etc. that was a while ago so my mind still treats php as like a kids tool & not as something that powers critical infrastructure. unlike other ppl's posts on here though my take is that discovering these types of exploits is actually great, the sooner we find these using advanced ai, the more incentivized legacy institutions will be to address technical debt like this. economic liabilities are an excellent forcing function for societal & technical advancement / adoption. also these guys should be using sophisticated ai to secure their systems anyway. there may obviously be some costs that occur to normal users which sucks but everything is a trade off in society.

Hot startups now pay more cash than Big Tech 💰 Median base salary in US software engineer job listings, per @levelsfyi: ▫️ Big Tech: $213K ▫️ High-growth startups: $242K ▫️ @OpenAI and @AnthropicAI: $360K Only two startups list above the labs: Aaru ($400K) and @twentycrm ($368K). The bottom of the chart is just as telling. 6 of the bottom 9 are defense, nuclear or chip startups. Leaving Big Tech used to mean a pay cut in exchange for equity you can rarely sell. That trade is flipping. The startups fighting for AI talent now pay more cash upfront, with the equity upside on top. Would you leave Big Tech for a startup paying more cash? Chart by @zuhayeer and @levelsfyi
