🚨BREAKING: A Michigan high school volleyball player and her father just sued Monroe Public Schools for hiding a biological male on the opposing girls’ team.
Briley Lechner’s team played Ann Arbor Skyline on September 9, 2025, and lost 3-0. The lawsuit says coaches and the athletic director knew the day before that Skyline had a male player identifying as a girl, but never told the Monroe players or their parents. He was also allowed in the girls’ locker room. The family says this violated Title IX. The district previously called their complaint unsubstantiated.
Males do not belong in female sports. The school knew and stayed quiet. Now the parents are in federal court.

🚨VICTORY: A federal appeals court has officially sided with the Department of Homeland Security, upholding the dismissal of a lawsuit that sought to reverse the deportation of Lebanese H-1B visa holder Rasha Alawieh!

The 1st Circuit ruled definitively that the federal courts do not have jurisdiction to hear her challenge.
Alawieh, who was working as a medical professor, was stopped at Boston's Logan International Airport in March 2025 following a trip to Lebanon. During a secondary inspection, border agents uncovered "sympathetic" photos and videos glorifying key Hezbollah figures—including former leader Hassan Nasrallah—deep inside her phone’s deleted items folder. Investigators also confirmed she admitted to attending Nasrallah's funeral while abroad.
Hezbollah is a strictly designated foreign terrorist organization responsible for the bloodshed of Americans and our allies. If you mourn and praise violent terrorists, you have zero business stepping foot in our country!
National security starts at the border, and foreign nationals who support designated terror groups should be sent packing immediately.

For as long as I can remember, I loved the game of basketball.
As I reflect on retiring, I want to share a few thoughts about this beautiful game and thank those who helped me live out some of my dreams.
No one ever forced me into it, I just always loved it. The freedom to create. So many different ways to handle the ball, pass, and score. As a kid, I played in our unfinished basement for hours every day imagining I was in the NBA. I had dreams of playing in packed arenas and hitting game winning shots. Dreams of playing in the NCAA tournament and in the NBA.
I’m grateful I had parents that pushed me towards those dreams. They didn’t raise us to be afraid of failure, but to set goals, chase them, and who cares if others think they’re unrealistic.
Here’s the truth. After only receiving one D1 offer, I did achieve some great things in basketball. I had a good college career and decent pro career largely built off outworking others. I also didn’t reach the levels I wish I would have and I wrestle with that. Some is because I didn’t perform in moments I needed to, and then some is out of my control with injuries.
I’m not retiring out of necessity. I know the energy it takes both mentally and physically to be my best and I’m not able to give my all to it anymore. I have something else calling my name, something that requires everything from me, and I wake up excited every day like I used to with basketball. That thing is @athletiq_io . I’m excited to share more with you in less than one week.
Basketball took me to Air Force, South Dakota, Texas Tech, Memphis Hustle, Canton Charge, Cleveland Cavaliers, Raptors 905, Mexico City Capitanes, New York Knicks, Unicaja Malaga (Spain), Chemnitz 99ers (Germany), Besiktas, Darussafaka, Samsun (Turkey), Trento (Italy), New Zealand Breakers, Quebradillas, and Leones de Ponce (Puerto Rico).

I can tell you in 2 seconds why there is no patient notes about lifestyle changes, it’s all about profit
In America, one chemotherapy session can be as much as $15,000+ dollars and patients might have to get them weekly
Without insurance a full course of treatment is all over $100,000 typically. It’s so expensive that even with insurance this is how many patients reach their out of pocket maximum on their plans
It’s all about profit
Ohh and I looked it up, there is substantial evidence that several of the lifestyle changes that she mentioned can make a meaningful difference for people with cancer
But those aren’t brought up…. Only the expensive treatment options are recommended
