My #ElixirConfEU keynote is up! I'm hoping it helps folks gain the confidence to put Nx into production. Machine learning in Elixir is production ready _today_. #myelixirstatus
ElixirConf 2024 kicked-off in style thanks to @cigrainger's keynote ‘Ship it! A roadmap for putting Nx into production’ 💡
In case you weren't able to see it in person, you can check it out here: youtube.com/watch?v=5FlZHkc4…

New versions of Nx, Axon, and Bumblebee are out. It includes model serialization to disk (for faster boot times), quantized types (s2/s4/u2/u4/f8), new models (Phi-3, Llama 3, Gemma, etc), and much more!
Kudos to Nx, Axon, and Bumblebee teams! 🎉

Btw, we are starting to look into bringing Nx, Livebook, and FLAME to High Performance Computing (HPC). If your company or university works with HPC and you would like to explore these ideas, please do reach out!
New blog post! AI GPU Clusters, from your laptop, with Livebook: fly.io/blog/ai-gpu-clusters-…
It includes @cigrainger's amazing demo from @ElixirConf, where Livebook started 64 GPUs, transferred your code, and compiled different ML models (BERT) for fine-tuning (in ~100 secs!) 🤯

First episode of Elixir Friends is out! 👇
I sat down with @PJUllrich to talk about life, what he's working on, camera setup (b/c I look like ghost 😅), and even some of his favorite food!
Peter, thanks for being the first elixir friend. 🤗 It's always a pleasure catching up with you!

New article! Remix's concurrent submissions are fundamentally flawed (without causal ordering): dashbit.co/blog/remix-concur…
I expand on why allowing concurrent operations on the client can introduce bugs, races, and complexity without ordering on the server.

I have seen a few libraries get published lately that copy the logic from the Phoenix Tailwind installer and figured I would make your lives easier as I already did the leg work of copying that logic and making it generic 🤣.
Christopher Grainger (@cigrainger.bsky.social) retweeted
Someone should take all of the libraries mentioned in this thread and make a blog post about it.
I mean, I COULD, but someone else should.
Show that using @elixirlang doesn't exclude you from using other languages and ecosystems!
I want to compile a list of ways @elixirlang interops with other ecosystems. Some to start:
- NIFs (Rustler / Zigler / C / C++)
- Bumblebee (from @huggingface / Python / XLA) & Nx
- LiveVue / LiveSvelte / LiveReact
- @liveviewnative
What else comes to mind?

Deserves a mention at the very least. We have features not found anywhere else. Distributed interference with Nx.Serving, me and @cigrainger's ElixirConf talk literally showing distributing training on elastic compute, etc.
