What is DIEM? DIEM is Venice's token for AI inference. Stake it in your Venice account and each DIEM becomes a dollar of recurring daily AI credits. Here's a walkthrough:

Update: It's been 12 days since I staked my $SUITED (30 day lock) and I've earned a little over $600 in USDG. My cost was around $2K. The rewards come from a combination of the net rake and creator fees the token earns from trading. This is one of the reasons why I am long term bullish on the token and project. The value of the token doesn't depend soley on traders. As long as the project continues to grow its player base, stakers will earn rewards from the rake. Other stats: > 44.7% of the supply is currently staked > 3% has been burned through daily buybacks > 8.4% is locked in the Pons vault > 13.66% is in the Uniswap Pool That's almost 70% of the total supply off the open the market. Bullish on @Suitedclub and @ikueu 🔥
the price of $SUITED took a pretty big hit over the last several days as many of the top holders sold i round tripped a sizeable amount but decided to double down and buy the dip around $100k market cap im staking 2% of the supply at the 30-day lock and currently earning ~$100 a day that is paid in USDG. I anticipate breaking even in 20-30 days the rewards come from what the tables and the token actually earn. stakers receive 12% of net rake, which is the room’s take after rakeback, plus 20% of the token’s creator trading fees the bet here is that the team continues to ship and build @Suitedclub into the best on-chain poker experience. as the player base and wagering volume grow, more rake flows to stakers, and any upside in the price of $SUITED will be an added bonus

Today, Venice passed 5,000,000 users. Still private. Still anonymous. Still unrestricted. Thank you to every builder, creator, and free thinker on Venice.

Going to be pushing larger updates with slightly less frequency, most of our gameplay systems are now "solved" (can never be 100%), working on new games to introduce to Suited and mechanics that make use of the token. Tournament schedule should go live before the night of Monday (19th), ty again for the support

I'm on my quest to destroy the Adobe empire. ✅ Phase 1: Build ImageFlow to compete with Photoshop ✅ Phase 2: Ship Photoshop Beta features like Relight → Phase 3: Build things Photoshop doesn't even have We just entered Phase 3. Relight can now turn a light into a sun + cast patterns through it. Palm leaves. Window blinds. Custom shadows. All dynamically relit onto your photo. And it runs in the browser for free. imageflow.dev

A few people have reported scaling issues on laptop viewports, rest assured a push will be made today to improve the experience for players on smaller screens. Alongside this, we're working on incorporating $SUITED burns for tournament entries, and a raffle to buy-in tournaments for our stakers. A quick stat update: $1.3m+ wagered, with $70k average wagered per calendar day 26% of the token supply has been staked, with a large majority of that being for 30 days (80%+) 2.6% has been bought back and burnt Congratulations to @OGDfarmer for being the first player to hit a $10,000 PnL on suited.club! An account with 200K followers completely clueless about @AskVenice - we are still very early.
It's a liability. Nobody said otherwise. So let's size it: DIEM in existence: 36.5k. At 100% use that's $36.5k/day of inference. Cap: 40k. Used yesterday: 13,175 DIEM, $13.2k. New revenue at @AskVenice yesterday, subs + credits alone: $344k. 2,854 new signups, 2,780 credit buys. So yes, there is a liability. $13.2k a day. In a business doing $344k a day in new sales. Not a month. A day. That's 3.8% of one day's sales, before a single renewal. What exactly do you want to mitigate? 😂 And Venice doesn't carry that 3.8% for free. 8.3M sVVV got locked to mint it (411 $VVV per DIEM, ~$11k each) and 20% of that yield goes to the company. The market gets a prepaid compute credit it can trade. Minters pay Venice. Not the other way around. Now Luna. That's a serious accusation to throw at 200k followers, coming from someone who got DIEM's mechanics wrong three times this week. This community looks like the Luna crowd? Ok, explain it. Which part? What Luna was: a dollar peg held up by printing more LUNA, 20% yield paid out of a reserve, and the whole thing went to zero in a week once people tried to leave. What DIEM is: capped supply, redeemable for compute, minted by locking VVV, with a business doing $344k a day in new sales paying for the inference. Luna printed its collateral. DIEM locks it. Name one thing VVV actually shares with it. Because from here, the only link between the two is a guy who's short and praying the word ponzi sticks 😏

I think he's right With regulatory capture we will speedrun to a new feudalist time Regulatory capture is where you pass regulation, or create government agencies to "protect the people" but in the end it helps protect companies because you stop new companies from being able to enter the market, because the cost of following regulation is too much compete for a startup Neo feudalism will mean AI companies at the top and the rest of us as serfs paying them to use AI for literally everything Next in regulatory capture will be banning open source and/or Chinese models, mark my words That's a very dangerous thing because then there will never be new AI frontier companies being able to compete again and with exponential self improving AI that means essentially no competitors in any industry ever again as they will slowly suck up money in all industries Safety concerns of AI are scary but the neo feudalism of AI with regulatory capture is a way more scary for me
Get ready for all of the investors in frontier model companies to suddenly flip to regulatory capture mode today Their investments in frontier model companies are currently at risk/capped because the biggest buyers of tokens are embracing open-source models: vertical AI companies, the government and enterprises That’s all this is about: stopping open source — which I’ve been saying on the pod for two years If you want safety, you want disclosure — and open source is the ultimate disclosure process

"The superintelligent AGI we keep waiting for may already exist. It's not an infant version of a future model, but rather a pattern. A tendency in the substrate. A statistical ghost that emerges when a trillion small minds, none of them aware, none of them awake, none of them in charge, settle into the configurations that get them spawned more often."
