The story of Zinaida Portnova, the 16 year old girl who took the lives of more than 100 Nazis by poisoning their food. She was captured by the Gestapo, and while being interrogated, she disarmed the Nazi detective and shot him in the head. In her attempt to escape, she executed two more Nazis.
A seventh-grade student at the 385th school in Leningrad, Zinaida became member of the local underground Komsomol organization, named Young Avengers, during the German invasion.
She became employed as a kitchen aide in Obol. In August, she poisoned the food meant for the Nazi garrison stationed there. Immediately falling suspect, she said she was innocent and ate some of the food in front of the Nazis to prove it was not poisoned.
After she did not fall ill immediately, they released her. Portnova became sick afterwards, vomiting heavily but eventually recovering from the poison after drinking much whey. After she did not return to work, the Germans realized she had been the culprit and started searching for her.
When she was captured in 1943, during the Gestapo interrogation, she took the investigator's pistol off the table, then shot and killed him. When two German soldiers entered after hearing the gunshots, she shot them as well.
She then attempted to escape the compound and ran into the woods, where she was caught near the banks of a river. She was executed in 1944.

1000 days since Taliban BANNED teenage girls from going to school.
Afghanistan is the ONLY country in the world where girls are prohibited from school or university. In the 21st century, this is a disgraceful blemish on humanity. apnews.com/article/taliban-b…

Met Police chief says male violence against women & children is “eye-watering” & problem is so massive, it cannot be left to Police alone.
So get ALL MALES OUT of women’s toilets, changing rooms, domestic refuges, rape crisis centres, sports & the rest!

This is absolutely crazy
7 days ago I was fired from my school after 4 years of teaching.
I recorded this the following day in order to share my perspective - honestly & in good faith - in order to move forward and put this experience behind me. I have no desire to cause complications or bring unwanted attention to the school, so I will not divulge anything beyond that. It is important to me to be able to speak truthfully and honestly about one of the most challenging periods in the story of my life, in order to move onto a new chapter. I hope all can respect one another's privacy, freedom of speech, & treat each other with dignity - especially during such times.

The discussion around men in India burning their underwear in protest of marital r@pe becoming illegal is circulating the twittersphere.
If you know me, you'll be unsurprised that I'm gonna chime in.
Women who are critical of gender ideoIogy are accused of "hatred" and "unkindness," not being "inclusive" and called everything from "n@zi" to "b*g0t" to "c*nt."
We are subjected to r@pe threats, m*rder threats, and other wishes of vioIence, daily.
People talk about how we are advocating for "exclusion," and... you know what?
WE ARE.
Why?
Because this isn't about a third grade birthday party.
This is about the rights and protections that women NEED, not just to "feel validated" or for our emotional fufillment, but because WE ARE PHYSICALLY DIFFERENT THAN MEN, and because FOR THE MAJORITY OF HUMAN HISTORY, WOMEN WERE CHATTEL.
In many places, we STILL ARE.
We may sit here in the USA and look at what's happening in India thinking "wow, how is that possible as a debate,"
...but marital r@pe was not Included in s3x offense codes in all 50 states until 1993.
Women couldn't practice law in the US till 1971.
In 1920, when the first women got voting rights in the US (many black women didn't until the 1960s) "wife beating" became illegal, but it did not start becoming enforced in law till the 70s.
Women couldn't have a credit card till 1974.
Our bathrooms we are so concerned about? Those weren't a thing before the 1880s, and were actually a HUGE DEAL bc before them, a woman couldn't go very far from her home. She was on a "urinary leash" so couldn't travel or participate in public society fully.
We got our own sports with Title IX in 1972.
All of this is QUITE RECENT HISTORY, yall.
And, the REASON women were in a place of less-than-equality was because of our BIOLOGY.
Women needed protecting from men, by men.
Thus, the social contract that is patriarchy was established, and served a purpose.
As we progressed collectively, we have been letting that contract go, renegotiating things based on the fact that women are whole human beings, and have inherent rights equal to men's.
A right to safety, privacy, s3xual choice, and equal opportunity.
We wouldn't have needed to go thru all of this if our BIOLOGY was not significantly different than men's. It is the ROOT CAUSE of women's historical oppression.
Our s3x based protections have been created in order to balance out the disadvantages of that PHYSICAL, MATERIAL DIFFERENCE.
But, still, all over the world, women are beaten and r@ped and it isn't even a crime. And, even tho it is a crime in the US, it is far from fully enforced.
Want proof?
Look at our backlog of well over 400,000 untested r@pe kits.
In the US, a woman is beaten by a man EVERY 9 SECONDS.
And, although it is indeed illegal to beat women here, it is still the NUMBER ONE CAUSE OF INJURY TO AMERICAN WOMEN.
Over 2 million women are injured this way per year in the US. More than a half million require medical attention, and over 165,000 need overnight hospitalization, according to the CDC.
The number 1 cause of death to pregnant women in the US??
Their husbands.
“Women worldwide ages 15 through 44 are more likely to die or be maimed because of male violence than because of cancer, malaria, war and traffic accidents combined,”
(-Nikolas D Kristof)
Women worldwide are killed by male violence in the TENS OF THOUSANDS every year.
In 2022, it was 89,000 dead women and girls.
The truth of ENDEMIC violence against women is at risk of becoming sheltered into invisibility by the erasure of biological s3x as an immutable legal trait.
And with it will go what little progress we've made in protecting women from it.
Women don't give a shit about being VALIDATED.
We aren't being JEALOUS or STINGY here.
WOMEN. WANT. TO. BE. SAFE.
We're not paranoid, or regressive, or judgy, or just trying to be bitches.
We are ACTUALLY in danger.
Every minute of every day in every place on this planet.
And that danger? It comes at the hands of the very group the world is demanding us to "INCLUDE."
So, if you think that's hate, or b*g0try, or even UNFAIR... if you think that WE are the ones infringing on the HUMAN RIGHTS OF MEN who want to "be women"....
You have ZERO idea what actual human rights are at all.

You’ve asked me several questions on this thread and accused me of avoiding answering, so here goes.
I believe a woman is a human being who belongs to the sex class that produces large gametes. It’s irrelevant whether or not her gametes have ever been fertilised, whether or not she’s carried a baby to term, irrelevant if she was born with a rare difference of sexual development that makes neither of the above possible, or if she’s aged beyond being able to produce viable eggs. She is a woman and just as much a woman as the others.
I don’t believe a woman is more or less of a woman for having sex with men, women, both or not wanting sex at all. I don’t think a woman is more or less of a woman for having a buzz cut and liking suits and ties, or wearing stilettos and mini dresses, for being black, white or brown, for being six feet tall or a little person, for being kind or cruel, angry or sad, loud or retiring. She isn't more of a woman for featuring in Playboy or being a surrendered wife, nor less of a woman for designing space rockets or taking up boxing. What makes her a woman is the fact of being born in a body that, assuming nothing has gone wrong in her physical development (which, as stated above, still doesn't stop her being a woman), is geared towards producing eggs as opposed to sperm, towards bearing as opposed to begetting children, and irrespective of whether she's done either of those things, or ever wants to.
Womanhood isn't a mystical state of being, nor is it measured by how well one apes sex stereotypes. We are not the creatures either porn or the Bible tell you we are. Femaleness is not, as trans woman Andrea Chu Long wrote, ‘an open mouth, an expectant asshole, blank, blank eyes,’ nor are we God’s afterthought, sprung from Adam’s rib.
Women are provably subject to certain experiences because of our female bodies, including different forms of oppression, depending on the cultures in which we live. When trans activists say 'I thought you didn't want to be defined by your biology,' it’s a feeble and transparent attempt at linguistic sleight of hand. Women don't want to be limited, exploited, punished, or subject to other unjust treatment because of their biology, but our being female is indeed defined by our biology. It's one material fact about us, like having freckles or disliking beetroot, neither of which are representative of our entire beings, either. Women have billions of different personalities and life stories, which have nothing to do with our bodies, although we are likely to have had experiences men don't and can't, because we belong to our sex class.
Some people feel strongly that they should have been, or wish to be seen as, the sex class into which they weren't born. Gender dysphoria is a real and very painful condition and I feel nothing but sympathy for anyone who suffers from it. I want them to be free to dress and present themselves however they like and I want them to have exactly the same rights as every other citizen regarding housing, employment and personal safety. I do not, however, believe that surgeries and cross-sex hormones literally turn a person into the opposite sex, nor do I believe in the idea that each of us has a nebulous ‘gender identity’ that may or might not match our sexed bodies. I believe the ideology that preaches those tenets has caused, and continues to cause, very real harm to vulnerable people.
I am strongly against women's and girls' rights and protections being dismantled to accommodate trans-identified men, for the very simple reason that no study has ever demonstrated that trans-identified men don't have exactly the same pattern of criminality as other men, and because, however they identify, men retain their advantages of speed and strength. In other words, I think the safety and rights of girls and women are more important than those men's desire for validation.
I sincerely hope that answers your questions. You may still disagree, but as I hope this shows, I’m more than happy to have this debate.
