RIP to Drakeo 🕊️
Respect to Kendrick 👑
All I’m gonna say is there is actual receipts of rappers from The Bay with that flow before both of them. One of the most obvious ones is Clyde Carson on “Slow Down”
I do not understand the love that he gets. Especially from black women. This nigga is horrible
50 Cent:
- openly MAGA (endorsed Trump, performed at his advisor’s wedding, publicly trashed Mamdani after his election, etc.)
- assaulted his child’s mother Shaniqa Thompkins and burned her house while she was inside
- charged with domestic violence, vandalism and rape by his other child’s mother Daphne Joy
- Said he "always wondered what Lindsay’s [Lohan] cooch looked like” (she was 17)
- told a 14 year old Quenlin Blackwell he wanted to "tear her shit up"
- beat and trampled 3 women who came to see him perform
✅pedophilic behavior
✅a sellout
✅an abuser
Everything they accuse Jay Z of being and more yet he’s their hero

Jay’s music career is literally his life story.
I can argue that he’s the best storyteller in hip-hop for the simple fact that it’s all true.
These niggas just can’t appreciate it because it’s not a bunch of made up fantastical fairytales that never happened.
Jay is the most vivid and HONEST storyteller in hip-hop.
Everything he raps about either really happened in his life or he witnessed it through those close to him.
And the best part is, you can basically fact check everything he says. Even the people he has issues with will corroborate his stories. There’s never inconsistencies or contradictions in his stories.
Joe Budden brought up the reports that Jay-Z will headline the next Super Bowl halftime show, and the cast was split.
Ish says he doesn't like it, even though he's a huge Jay fan. He doesn't like Jay's NFL ties, and he thinks it's unfair for Jay to pick himself for his own show.
The cast pushed back that Jay has let others perform for years already.
Ice isn't feeling it much either.
Marc and Parks are excited. Marc wants to know who the guests will be, and he's sure we'll see Beyoncé, Alicia Keys and Rihanna.
Emanny says the timing is perfect with the Reasonable Doubt and Blueprint anniversaries, and that some artists need a Super Bowl on their résumé.
Joe isn't excited. When Kendrick and Bad Bunny were announced, he could picture the storytelling right away. With Jay, he can't.
Emanny says Jay can tell a street story from the block in 13 minutes, but Joe still doesn't see it.
He asked if Jay is a better storyteller than Biggie, and most of the cast said it's not close, naming Big and Nas at the top.
Joe also said the Jay songs he'd want to hear are probably the ones Jay won't do. If he somehow gets MC Hov, he'd be jumping in his living room. And if Jay does "Holy Grail" with Justin Timberlake and gets the set wrong, Joe says he's going to talk about it.

But just keep that between me and you for now
Jay-Z was always in the conversation, but did he ever have a run where he was clearly THE guy in hip-hop?
DMX had 1998. Eminem had 1999, 2000 and 2002. Ludacris had 2001. Then 50 Cent took over in 2003.
Jay was always elite, but was he ever the undisputed No. 1?

The basement dweller was just calling Kendrick lazy for not doing “enough” and today he wants the world to know Jay-Z was only relevant because he dropped too much. This is another example of why y’all have to stop listening to stupid people. Good morning tho!
