a successful synthesis of a 'EC508', an estradiol prodrug with a slower release, that could provide oral HRT pills much less damaging to the liver. pretty cool!

update on this (short 🧵) initial synthesis has succeeded with a good yield! some time within the next month or so i’ll be publishing the second part of this which will go into the pharmacology of EC508, which will be more interesting than an alternate synthesis route.

within the next month or so along with the second part coming out, i will be taking EC508 and have blood tests administered. if everything is successful i may allow others near me to be a part of a small trial with it.

I've reworked this to be even cheaper, just £15/$20 per board and requires no soldering to assemble the board so now DIY electrolysis hair removal is more accessible than ever before :)
