I lived in Vienna for 6 years and can confirm it's an awesome place to live but it comes with A LOT of downsides:
💸 you will pay 50% tax as a self-employed
The 48% income tax bracket in Austria is starts with €70k, and if you are growing your online biz you will reach it soon
Founding your company elsewhere like Dubai or Singapore won't work – Austria looks at the effective place of management, and if you live in Austria you will need to pay both PIT and CIT here no matter where your company is set up
Social security contributions in Austria are a de facto progressive income tax as well. Your base for it is capped at €97k per year, but below that you will pay 27% of income for social security + complusory state health insurnace
The state health insurance doesn't cover dentist work and you will still need to pay 10% of the cost of each doctor's visit
You will also never fully use your social security until you reach pension, because entrepreneurs in Austria are not automatically entitled to unemployment benefits unlike regular employees (absurd, given how much tax u pay)
💃 nightlife in Vienna is practically non-existent. Austria is a nation of early wake-upers. People get up at 6 ot 7, do a lot of sports (which is nice), but most restaurants close before 23:00, and clubs are empty at 2 AM already
🛒 grocery shops close at 8 PM on weekdays and don't work on Sundays. this creates a lot of stress cause you need to plan all your groceries, and grocery/healthy food deliveries after 8 PM don't exist
In no other place have I spent so much time on day-to-day chores such as cooking, cleaning, and groceries as in Vienna – outsourcing chores in Austria is simply not a thing
Vienna is a great place to raise a child or live off your wealth after you turn 60, but it's pretty terrible for young people and especially entrepreneurs

not even close to the embryo of shenzhen lol
for that would be needed
1) access to high quality education nearby (hong kong)
2) transport ease for construction material (like sea, danume? mby)
3) unified legal and linguistic framework cut the red tape and the tower of babel
4) high tech infrastructure
5) low taxes (promotes entrepreneurship)
etc.
border between bavaria austria & czechia seems like a better fit,
-bavaria can provide education and corporate capital and knowledge
-czechia cheap nuclear energy and relatively low cost and low bureaucracy environment (compared to DACH)
-austria can provide material and social bridge between german and czech cultures, also culturally more alike
but space, language and political will stay the problem as always in the eu

Fabio Silva on why he ran over to Felix Nmecha after scoring his goal:
"Because in football – and in life – it’s not always easy. Last season, and also at the start of this one, there was a lot of noise surrounding me. He always came over to me and tried to spur me on, so that I could improve and focus on the things I can control. And he’s always told me that I can make a difference. He’s one of my best friends in the team and has helped me a lot. Not just after this match – even in previous matches, when things were going well, I’d always go up to him and say, ‘Thanks for helping me so much.’ He’s one of the people who’ve really helped me get to this moment. And if I’m in a situation like this now, it’s partly because of him."

No fundamental reason why the Dollar is down other than the manipulation in the Yen that ended up dragging the other pairs down...not so much EUR as the others
And all they have done is loosen financial conditions more under a high inflation problem while Oil continues to go up

First time recorded, as far as I am aware, that Magyar lashes out openly against the European Commission. As all Hungarian nationalists, he too is annoyed by people calling him a puppet of von der Leyen. The honeymoon period might be over here.
