NASA Recently captured the night sky on mars in full 4k resolution.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This video is not NASA footage of the Martian night sky in 4K. It composites rover surface images with an unrelated Earth star field, as NASA has confirmed for identical viral clips. x.com/NASAMars/statu… petapixel.com/2025/08/22/no-… youtube.com/watch?v=FRm_tS…

This is really poor by @FA. The governing body is supposed to protect players. It should be disputing this regulatory commission verdict by members drawn from the FA judicial panel. Max Dowman could have suffered a bad injury to his standing leg from a dangerous challenge which went unpunished. Arsenal 16-year-old shouldn’t have reacted but his frustration was understandable. Some other players might have rolled around and ensured a bad challenge was punished. Dowman didn’t. He doesn’t stay down. The FA should have shown some understanding towards Dowman. Instead, it has suspended him for three games. FA priorities all wrong: tolerating a poor challenge and some weak refereeing but punishing a kid who objected to a bad challenge that could have dealt him a serious injury. Protect players. #AFC

Ken Friar is Arsenal. In 1946, a 12-year-old local boy kicked a ball under manager George Allison’s car outside Highbury. Allison was impressed by his enthusiasm and gave him a matchday messenger job. That kid started full-time in the box office in 1950 and never left. Without Ken Friar, Arsenal would not be the same today. He rose through the ranks to become club secretary, then managing director in 1983. For nearly two decades he ran the day-to-day club, negotiated contracts, protected Highbury’s character, and kept Arsenal’s values intact through changing times. When the club needed a new home, he stepped away from the MD role to drive the Emirates Stadium project with Danny Fiszman — delivering one of the most complex builds in football history on time and on budget. He described Arsene Wenger as like a younger brother and said he didn’t think they could have built the Emirates without the success and stability Wenger brought. In 2020, after more than 70 years, he stepped down from the board and was named life president. There’s a bridge named after him outside the Emirates and a statue of that boy chasing the ball. Ken Friar didn’t score the goals or lift the trophies. He was the constant — the living memory, the steady hand, and the quiet guardian of everything Arsenal is supposed to stand for. He spent 80 years of his life at Arsenal Football Club. From 1946 to today. Ken Friar, thank you.

ARSENAL LOST TO CHELSEA AND MAN CITY Arsenal’s first decade under Wenger was built on trophies. The next decade became a fight to stay competitive while the financial gap around them grew. Thierry Henry: “The first 10 years were more prolific than the following 10 years?” Wenger’s answer points to what changed: Arsenal were paying for a new stadium while their biggest rivals were gaining huge financial power. Arsene Wenger: “We were not anymore the club who could basically compete with them on the financial front.” Chelsea came first. Manchester City followed. Arsenal still had the expectations of a top club, but not the same financial power to match them. ft. Arsene Wenger, Thierry Henry via @SkySportsPL

Arsene Wenger on Arsenal's money situation: "We're blocked, we could only spend 50% of turn over on wages. We had to sell our best players" Then Manchester City were inflating revenue upto £900m to build a team & win on the pitch under Pep Guardiola & co.

Arsenal had to sell their best players & limit their spending under Arsene Wenger ( Emirates stadium). A club with global reach. But Man City who couldn't fill their stadium were able to generate revenue fast enough to compete with big clubs (2009-18)?
