Bravo Opera de Montréal for a brilliant staging of #Turandot with our new ending. Brilliant performances by Maida Hundeling and Andrea Shin, with Paolo Arrivabeni conducting the @LeMetropolitain and Chœur de l’Opéra de Montréal. Incroyable!

Congratulations Mao Shimada on your first senior title! Flawless skate!!!

Bonjour Montréal! I'm coming to your beautiful city for Opéra de Montréal's first two performances of Turandot (with the new ending composed by me and with a libretto by @susansoonhe, commissioned by @FZambello). I'll be there Sept. 25 and 29. Hope to see you there!

Bravo to @laradownes for a brilliant world premiere of my piano concerto 'The Pursuit of Happiness' at @lincolncenter with the @amercomporch conducted by @ejacobsenmusic. Now off to Cardiff, Wales for the UK premiere with the @BBCNOW in 3 days!

Stoked that Mao Shimada will be skating to Waloyo Yamoni now!!! Her program to Mada Kara Mieru was stellar.

It's a 22-minute hayride of joy for piano and orchestra. I'll be at both concerts, so come say hi! US Premiere: lincolncenter.org/series/sum…

Announcing my first piano concerto 'The Pursuit of Happiness', composed for @laradownes! The world premiere is on July 1st at @LincolnCenter with @EJacobsenMusic and the @AmerCompOrch, followed by the UK premiere July 5th at the @theCentre by the @bbcnow and Kellen Gray.

This has been an absolute DREAM project--probably the most creatively invigorating and freeing thing I've ever done (and right on the heels of my #Turandot completion too!). I'm so in my happy place right now. #opera #composer 3/3

with a libretto by Kelley Rourke and choreography by Jessica Lang, and it stars an INCREDIBLE cast: @IsabelLeonardNY as Georgia O'Keeffe, @HeldenMommy as Mabel Dodge Luhan, William Burden as Alfred Stieglitz, and conducted by George Manahan. 2/3

I can finally announce this! My first full-length opera 'O'Keeffe: Kiss the Sky', about Georgia O'Keeffe is coming March 2027. It's my second commission from @WashNatOpera and is an innovative fusion of ballet and opera directed by @FZambello 1/3

Due to popular demand, we even added a second concert in the evening. And joining me on stage will be my buddy Jimmer Bolden! The opening half will be Morten Lauridson's 'Lux Aeterna' conducted by Santa Barbara Choral Society's Artistic Director JoAnne Wasserman.

For those in Southern California, come join me on 5/31 as I guest conduct the Santa Barbara Choral Society in a set of my most popular pieces, including my music from #Civilization, 'Waloyo Yamoni', and my completion of 'Turandot'.
