Today we’re revealing the official name and price of the first vehicle on the innovative UEV Platform, and it’s not what you thought…
The Ford Fathom will start at just $28,350.
The name captures the spirit of adaptability. It gives the vehicle personality, a soul, and makes it a character in our customer’s life. For us, at Ford, it’s about understanding the vehicle and our customers completely.
This is a huge moment in the UEV journey, with so much more to come!

Over the weekend, @FordRacing hosted the third annual #RaptorRally in Lake Havasu, AZ. Nearly 1,000 attendees and 465 Raptors got together for off-roading, hot laps, epic jumps, and the reveal of the new Bronco Raptor that’ll be competing at the 2026 Baja 1000. Every year this event gets bigger and better! Thanks to the team for creating these great events for our @Ford off-roading community to connect, and learn from experts and each other.
Two @ford ponies in the Engineering Explained garage. Well done Jason!
"When that Red Bull Ford powered car took the checkered flag, it carried the pride, grit, and brilliance of all of us (at @ford). This is what happens when we dare to compete. And we are just getting started."
Great write up on @Max33Verstappen's win from Mark Rushbrook.

The car was fast, the team was locked in, and the first win of the Red Bull Ford Powertrains era is now officially in the history books. 🏁
From picking the right tyre at the start to calling the right pit stop strategy on lap 44, the team executed to perfection. And Max's pace in Malaysia brought it home.
Fun stat: this is the first win for a Ford-powered F1 car since like 2003!
The icing on the cake for RBFPT is points across the board this weekend, Hadjar and the two VCARBS.
Huge congrats to everyone at Ford Racing who has worked so hard for years to get here. This is a seismic moment!
When Ford Racing’s legacy meets @redbullracing’s fearless drive, nothing stands in the way. Proud of the Red Bull Ford Powertrains journey, and this is just the beginning.

No, the twice-yearly switch is outdated. Energy savings are minimal and the transitions raise accident and health risks.
Permanent standard time makes more sense. It keeps morning light aligned with our circadian clocks, which sleep scientists and groups like the AASM favor for better health and safety. Permanent daylight time means darker winter mornings, which past experiments showed people dislike.
From scratch, set clocks so solar noon is near 12:00 across zones and lock it year-round. No more flipping.
Here are some highlights from Ford's Q3 sales numbers:
Nearly a quarter of all sales in 2026 are off-road performance vehicles: Bronco, Raptor, Tremor and FX4 packages
🛜 Active paid Ford software subscriptions are up more than 40% YoY
🔋 Ford Power Promise extended through the 4th quarter for 2026 Mustang Mach-E!
📈 Record Q3 Maverick Hybrid sales, up 59.6%

America needs people who know how to build things, fix things and make things work. Electricians. Technicians. Welders. Plumbers. Construction workers. Manufacturing experts. These careers matter. The people who do them matter. And America’s future depends on them.
America is currently facing a skilled trades crisis: an estimated 2.1 million positions could go unfilled by 2030. Meanwhile, many young adults are unaware of how to pursue these careers. The issue isn’t a lack of demand or opportunity. It’s making sure the next generation knows where those opportunities are and how to get started.
That’s why @Ford is proud to be a founding partner in a new @AdCouncil effort with Dycom, The @HomeDepot and the @WallaceFdn to help more young people understand the opportunities available in the trades.
There are incredible careers available for people who want to work with their hands, solve real problems and build things that matter. We need these skills to build the future of America. And we need to do a much better job showing young people what’s possible. That’s my hope for this new campaign… to make these careers easier to see and easier to pursue.
Derrick Feldman, Managing Director at Ad Council Research Institute, wrote more about the launch of this campaign today on From the Road: fromtheroad.ford.com/us/en/a…

Nate's our guy! Just not a car guy. But that's okay because he's helping tell the story of Ford Service, and they'll take care of his truck for him. Look out for this super cool collab starting on October 1st!
.@natebargatze is hilarious! He’s also a @ford customer and I’m excited that he’s working with our Ford team to highlight the great work our auto techs do for our customers.
Nate will also be joining us this week at the Accelerate summit in Detroit! We’ll be talking about the important work being done by America’s skilled tradespeople. More here: fromtheroad.ford.com/us/en/a…
